All things being equal, I'd rather have Mason. I'm just not sure about signing him to a 4-5 year deal when they have so many good goalie prospects.

It was my 2nd ever show. I was 11. I got a ridiculous contact high, spent the second half laying in my mom's lap. I wish I could relive that show now, as I couldn't fully grasp it.

I agree that Mason>Neuvirth

Not a fan of Bishop but my crystal ball says Flyers. But when you think about it, his salary will be insane. A healthy-steady Mason could be better in the long run.

And yeah, forgot about Stolarz and co.

My second keeper pool is so goalie-oriented it gets all GMs completely nuts. Guys like Juuse Saros and Thatcher Demko are being picked 1st and 2nd round. Thought about Stolarz but didn't do my research. How was he in preseason?

He's come a long way, but still has some work to do. Neuvirth and Mason have historically had injury issues, so this might be the year he actually gets a few NHL games, but we'll see.

To be honest, Alex Lyon might start the season ahead of him in Lehigh Valley. Lyon is a college FA with upside too. He might be worth taking a flyer on (no pun intended).

I don't think either will get much NHL time this year, but they could be in the mix next year playing behind what we hope is a strong defense.

They also have:

Felix Sandstrom (2015 3rd round)
Matej Tomek (2015 3rd round)
Carter Hart (2016 2nd round)

the gold doesn't look as bad when you see them playing in them. there's something interesting about them.

still weird and uncomfortable (and ugly) but somehow interesting to look at.
