2 eggs:

I prefer my eggs sunny side up but the cafeteria in the building doesn't prepare them I'm not sure why. They are over easy and to perfection. I put a bit of salt on them.

toast:

two slices, whole wheat. They have a very light coating of butter (salted) which you can't see here as it's on the inside of each pair of halves.

lettuce leaf and tomato:

I'm finally on good enough terms with the cafeteria staff that the lady at the counter does not intentionally give me the most wilted ones and the lady at the cash does not charge me $0.70 for it.

I use one triangle of toast to eat each egg setting it up like an ope-faced sandwich. One triangle for the lettuce and tomato and the last one to pretty much soak up all the yolk that has dispersed in the plate as I bite into the egg.

I specifically declined bacon/sausage/ham and potatoes today as I did not feel like having any of them.

$2.50 for the plate.

Enjoy French Toast and pancakes or waffles at hotel breakfasts or buffets.
I rarely make them at home but am craving french toast these days.

took this pic at a diner a few years ago. one of my favs that my father used to prepare. French toast with American cheese. Throw some syrup on there and proceed to chomp. People look down on me for this yet i care not.

also - milk and/or coffee is a must with any pancake/waffle/french toast scenario. And it's not even up for discussion.

hmmm brilliant.

the mix of the syrup and cheese is stranger to me but I will try it this weekend as I usually make french toast at home.
