...Pysyk, as of right now they need to make room for McNabb. As Sabres management has stated he'll be starting in Rochester. He's definitly ready and likely ahead of Pysyk as the Sabres believe in their prospects putting in their time in the AHL. The only one that hasn't has been Myers.

Edit....however your trade sounds logical and would make sense for both sides involved.

I don't know...I liked what I saw of Pysyk with the Oil Kings. He might not start the year in the AHL, but he'll finish the season in the NHL.

I agree. Not sure that is a major deal. The only major defenseman that buffalo has is Myers. Deal is probably gagner and hartikainen for Myers and a prospect. Richard just won't put hartikainen in any potential deal because of the man crush he has for him.

Only problem I see with your deal is that you've just called Gagner a "young star"....which is a bit of a stretch. And that's not meant to be a knock...I just don't think he's "a star".

So, it's not Gagner, because he's not "a star", and, it's certainly not RNH because, well, no comment required, so let's just agree there won't be a deal involving a "young star top-6 centre", shall we?

When is the last time the Oilers dealt someone on the level of Hall, Nuge, or Eberle? Pronger in 2006. And the only reason they made that deal is because Mrs. Pronger had enough of her husband and the A-Channel lady.

Any deal for Myers will certainly involve one of Hall, Eberle or RNH. We dont want to give them up. Buffalo doesn't want to give up Myers. This is a non-issue. Ek is a tool. Clouts is looking for hits. Bieber is a fag, and I want to drink beer.

If it's a major deal involving a Buffalo defenseman then it would have to be Myers because that's the only major defenseman they've got. You won't get Tyler Myers for Sam Gagner and a prospect. I think 'incredibly unlikelies' would be a better term. Unless it's RNH. He's pretty much untouchable, as Edmonton has nothing else resembling a #1 center.

Oh...I definitely don't disagree that he may play his way into the top six before the years out. A lot of options for the Sabres right now as far as making a deal from their blueline depth. Nice problem to have.
