Good blog Julie.

One thing though, I'm the first one to defend Grigorenko against his haters, but he's not what I would call a blue-collar player

If he adds a blue collar work ethic, with his skills, he could be something special.

I'm a big fan of who Buffalo was able to add to their stable in Mikhail Grigorenko, Zemgus Girgensons and Jake McCabe. All three are your typical blue-collar Sabres who could all be studs sooner than later.

He would seem more of a Capital type

But it's not proven that he's soft yet; he's not overpaid yet; he doesn't have a 2 hour commute to work yet and he won't be wearing a really lame uniform.

It's a very good pick at #12, could end up being the best player of this draft.

I think the Habs and the Sabres look very good after this weekend.

Just cause hes from Russia doesnt mean hes a capital type. Notice they didnt take one till the 7th.

Thank you Julie, the general consenus around Buffalo is that thank god we went out and got 2 good centers who can ride on adult rollercoasters.

I really like Collberg. When the Canucks were up at 26 I was hoping for Gaunce or Collberg.

would have been nice for anyone of those late 1st round centers fallen to the habs which would have given them one hell of a 1 2 punch. I really wanted Samuelsson to fall to Buffalo well him and any player 6ft+ 200+

Out of Ennis, Hodgson, Grigorenko, and Girgensons which two do you see being your future #1 and #2 centres? Are the other two going to be moved to the wing?

Hoping it would go Grigor as #1 potential, Ennis/Hodgson still think their ceiling is a 2 so its a 2(a)2(b). Girg can be a solid 3 good 2 but should be on the pk unit for years to come.

would love to eventually see

Vanek-Grigor-Pommer
Foligno-Ennis-Stafford
Leino-Girg-Hodson (would be a very nice shut down line)
Tropp-Adam-Kaleta

#1 Grig
#2 Hodgson
#3 Girg
#4 Adam

That's a pretty good future or move Grig to the wing and put in Armia

Julie what do you think about TT going 18 to the Hawks. Some are saying he has as much pure talent as anyone in the draft.

Grigorenko shouldn't have been available at #12... Many teams will be kicking themselves for that one, naw sayin?
