It is truly horrible.

Rielly is probably an average #2, not a true #1 yet.
Zaitsev is hit and miss, but he is a rookie and he is already our second best.
Carrick could be a Ryan Ellis type, or an Ian White type?
Gardiner is a train wreck in his own end a couple times every period

The others are all throw aways, and in fact a couple were throw aways on bad teams.

- Aetherial

I'm waiting for the Gardiner fanboys to come out and defend him being an elite defender again.. and tell us Marincin isn't so bad and we should let up. Roll out a bunch of analytic graphics. I'm convinced none of those guys watch any more then the game in 6 minutes.

I actually dont care about them losing games....its expected
Can we just do it in normal fashion so we dont have to fend off the trolls

- senstroll

of all the things I find the most painful ... it is when this team gives the trolls more than ample ammunition.

Everything we could be trolled on happened last night.

A hard fought 3-2 loss would not be difficult to take at all... but that sh1t show was embarrassing. What is with the (frank)ing Toronto team collapses.

He's not a worse skater....watch the games

After watching our D play ping pong there's good chance he plays soon.

- Garnie

watch the games. Classic go to.

Polak sucks balls. Zero hockey skills, zero hockey iq..... I guess what we're missing here is someone to pile drive guys into the boards face first, he's great at that.

3 games in and we have "Andersen haters" and "Andersen apologists." Fantastic. Glad nobody can have an opinion on a goalie without "hater" or "apologist" attached.

Well, I'm sober and caffeinated. Gonna get to backreading in a moment.

But I'm reasonably confident that, whatever I may have said last night after the game, I probably actually feel the opposite.

Don't forget the Matthews basher above your post.

(frank)ing 19 year olds man. If they play poorly in one game they're automatically a Filatov, Yakupov, or Daigle

THe two things that should bother you folks are ..

1. Andersen....the tying goal.....he was soooooo far out of position, when the pick gets to Ehlers theres FOUR Jets to his right...he comes THAT far out to his left??? WTF is he thinking there??

2. say what you will about me saying this..but watch the replay..Matthews makes NO EFFORT to catch Laine on the OT goal....when he goes by the net on his breakaway and turns he SEES that that's Laine and knows its 3 on 3...ZERO effort...he literally SLOWS DOWN...I'm sure hoping to get another chance to go the other way...thats two OT games that you lost because he has no interest in getting back. The bright lights are already ruining that kid

- Ripped Fuel

pretty sure matthews was at the end of a shift and just burnt what was left of his legs on the breakaway.

I think that is why they got him?

Half our defense doesn't belong in the NHL.

I wonder if we will see a trade.

I think Matthews has looked very much like a typical rookie the last 2 games. He looked completely different in Game 1.

It believe it is way off base to criticize his effort. Nobody accomplishes what he has and then decides to mail it in.

I really suspect he is just not settled in to his teammates and I wonder if he is concentrating more on working in Babcock's system... he looks almost invisible in the offensive zone where he was everywhere in the O-zone in the first game.

Like I said earlier... reminds me a bit of Rielly struggles early last year.

if that helps you sleep at night.

Id expect MAXIMUM effort on BOTH sides of the redline. I'm sure the other OT goal he was "at the end of a shift"

it does because he was on the ice for over a minute got 4 shot attempts 3 on net and a breakaway. he was dominating the overtime, then had no gas left. young mistake of staying out too long because he was trying to do to much.

No, you are being an ass. You're pissed.

Go back and read the comments and tell me I wasn;t watching, and then see if you can identify where I stopped watching and did not post any more comments until other people let on what happened.

Then, when you realize you are being an idiot. STFU. We are all pissed at this loss. Get over it.
