Do you guys remember when Flyer fans came over here saying that Giroux is better than Stamkos?
Yeah.....

The Flyers fans make me laugh with that nonsense about Giroux.

In my opinion Stamkos has grown up a lot so far this season as me and Michael have talked about on these boards. Stamkos ceiling is still going up, that is so incredibly hard to believe but true. You cannot teach a player how to shoot like Stammer but you can teach Stammer how to be more responsible in all facets of the game. Another unseen aspect of Stamkos is his size and physique he can more then handle his own. He is durable and has a quick first step skating, he back checks and fore checks better then all the other "scorers" in the game.

The Redwings said last night exactly what I have been thinking this year:

“Obviously, he’s a gifted player,’’ Babcock said. “He’s a competitive kid. He’s worked hard at his body. It looks to me from watching the last few games that he’s worked hard on his game to be better defensively. But he’s dangerous. He can really skate, he can really shoot it and he loves to score.’’

Said Zetterberg of Stamkos: “He’s one of the best players in the league. If you give him a little bit he takes a lot. He can shoot from everywhere and score from anywhere.’’

Go bolts ! Big game today . We have to snatch back 2 points to keep it a good race in the Atlantic today . I know even if we lose were still tops , but nobody wants that to happen !!! And these early points against Atlantic rivals could mean a lot ... I wanna see iginla get his ass knocked out by gudas but I don't want gudas going out of position today either against a Boston squad

What's the deal with Aulie? Doesn't seem like he gets a lot of playing time. Is it due to his skill sets or just a log jam on the blueline? I remember he was touted to project to be good when he was traded to Tampa from the Leafs.

Aulie hasn't been playing too often and when he does he's been a give away specialist.

Oilers, Flames or Philly need D men. I'd trade him for a pick and go with Sustr and Barberio splitting time

Id be happy with a 3rd for him.

Good for Lindy to have a good start. Feels like he has a habit of collapsing if he let some early shots go through.

This is tough to watch right now. Stamkos is one of the best players to watch in the NHL. Looks like a broken leg

No chance that was intentional. If you think Hamilton did that on purpose your nuts.
