Logan Thompson Wants out of Vegas… His value should be very hgh, and we have learned in the past that Vegas moves guys who want out. The Sabres, Devils and Canes are among those “holing their breath!”

Devils can’t afford him and have no contracts to move out

I read the reply (gone now) from the guy that canceled his membership. He wants free accurate entertainment off of a $20 a year website. All these websites are the same churned out bull crap. It’s just something to do in August until we have hockey. Rumors are fun most are BS. People take this way too serious …..

What? He's making under $ 800,000 a year this year and next. We have $1.9M in cap space right now. How can we not afford him?

I mean, if we're talking about Logan Couture, sure. I'd think Devs would be all over Thompson, though!

Tell me you live under a rock without telling me you live under a rock 😆😆
I guess you missed out on Adin Hill and the Knights winning the cup back in June 😆😆😆😆

Edit: and Hill signing a two year contract at a 4.9M/AAV

To be fair, McCrimmon eked an extra year out of Thompson by giving him a one way day in the two years on the back end. Nobody expected Thompson to be as good as he ended up being when his contract was signed, and now he's the league's bargain basement starter. Hill only got to play because of terrible injury luck, and good on him for doing as well as he did. Won a cup, got 2*4.9. But why LT would want to go anywhere else is beyond me - I don't see how the Hill signing makes LT anything less than a 1B. Lehner ain't gonna play, Patera is there in the wings if injuries get loco again, but Thompson is likely to play at least 40 games in Vegas. All of these contracts are up at the same time - meaning VGK will keep one (or both) of Hill and Thompson in two year's time. I don't know why you'd give up a starter locked at league minimum for the next two seasons unless the return coming back simply can't be refused.
