Do you mean drafting 7th overall? Cause UG won't be happy with that! |

No, we're drafting at 11 next year. Paste this in your browser and book it. UG will lose his lunch, when he draws and quarters himself, after it happens. |

it's almost to the point we're feeling sorry for you guys, if it weren't for bad luck you wouldn't have any! As I've mentioned before, I don't hate the Leafs. But I really can't stand Burke. The day he's gone and ownership buys into the concept of a real rebuild, you'll be much better off. |

Speaking rebuild you guys will have to do that or make some major changes if you want a cup . Us at this point, I'd happy with the playoffs. |

Burke has done nothing but good things since he got here, kessel trade aside.
He's a very good GM, and the only way its a good move to replace him is if Poille, Holland or Lou come available. |

In three years we're gonna be in the same boat, unless Gillis actually knows what he's doing...jury's still out on that one!
When the Sedins retire, if they retire, after two more years we don't yet have ANYTHING coming up of note to replace them!
As for winning in the next two years, I think it can be done. We came within one game of winning a Cup. But we do need to make some changes for sure! |

Vancouver is starting the early stages of Calgaryitus. Hold on to aging stars and try to bandaid your way into a playoff spot. Calgary made their run to the final, then held on to aging stars, until they're worth diminished. Something like the Muskoka 5 debacle, in Toronto. That was about a stage 3, of Calgaryitus. Calgary is already at stage 5, collapse and realize that your a lottery team, with an aging core that isn't going anywhere, for the next years. |

He's definitely built up a good prospect pool, give him credit for that. But his teams have drafted 7th overall (2009) 2nd overall (2010) 9th overall (2011) and 5th overall (2012). You're giving him too much credit IMO. Where's UG when you need him? |

lol
The team he took over had Luke Schenn and the 7th overall pick (Kadri) to build on.. That's it. The next best assets were Matt Stajan, Nik Antropov and Alex Ponikarovski.
Hes turned JFJs stool into a decent foundation to build on. These things don't happen over night. |

I didn't know gardiner was playing. Personally if the canucks had gardiner I would not send him down for the playoffs too risky. If the leafs want to make a push next year they need him. |

I haven't watched much myself until this year either, it's O.K to watch not amazing but good to see if anyone has what we need.
Nucks have been good for a good while now, drought's have this effect IMO.
