Marner shrunk in the playoffs because he couldn’t handle it mentally. Whether he ever gets that fixed who knows but when it came to elimination games he was a shell of himself. Hopefully someone rises above and I think that person is knies.

At least from an individual standpoint

Marner was probably a great friend and a good lockeroom personality from what I read.

But he has some brutal character flaws that were magnified here by X100.

Fans just want effort. Well, yes we want to win of course, but if the team goes down fighting hard that’s all you can ask. MM was my scapegoat because he demanded league leading cash for a winger, and always, disappeared in games 5,6,7. I’m not just talking about (not) getting big goals in those games, he was invisible! Didn’t do anything of value. Looked scared. And then with the attitude afterwards. Glad he’s gone. I’m sure there will be some success for him in Vegas but I also think it’s only a matter of time until he overstays his welcome there as well.
