There is a story that Doug Gilmour tells about how Jacques Demers encouraged him to change his game from a player who scored goals but couldn't find a place on a top line or bottom line, to some one who could check and dominate, how he started to understand how to be an NHL player.

I think it comes down to the player, if Nick Robertson can really show that he buys into the system that Berube is implementing he will have ice time, if he's mature enough to know he will need to grow then we may have a hell of a player here.

I do think his value may be low around the league but your buying for potential.
