That’s probably true but if he keeps going like this they may have to call him up. He probably sees what’s going on up here (and lack of depth) and is motivated to make them do it.

As far timing for it it couldn’t be better. No pressure because they’re playing well winning games, and have a cushion in the standings. If it was a playoff push they yea it could wait. I really hope it happens. I don’t care about accruing anything lol, he’s going to bring juice whenever it is that he makes his debut

Unless chytil or kakko don’t come off LTIR I don’t think we can afford him even at 50% without Goodrow being moved. I say Goodrow because no one else making more than $1m is getting traded. So basically, I don’t see how we can afford him

Highly unlikely SJ wouldn’t be one of them regardless if they’re in a playoff race, which they won’t be. With all due respect, that is massive overpay. Jones is likely expendable, but Goodrow has a role in the bottom six and will be needed in the playoffs. I will be shocked if Duclair nets a first round pick. Maybe I will be proven wrong, but he is not the kind of player that normally garners that kind of return.
