Tippett is adapting. He will be fine. Right now Foerster is playing more like an adequate 4th liner than a fast-rising projected goal-scorer.

Why not move Cam over to accommodate the 2 guys who you hope have a future here?

How does GH look to you? Seems to me all he does is just try to hit instead of playing hockey. Not the plyer from previous years.

While I agree with your thoughts about developing the kids in their natural positions there is no way torts moves Cam to the off side. Cam is on fire and Torts won't even consider moving him, imo

Play the youth, just not where they have played with success!! Do it the torts way!

He is a Flyers 1st round pick, of course he is a 4th liner. Those attributes are what the Flyers look for in virtually everyone they draft.......Note that this is obviously sarcasm, but at the same time not very far from the truth. Proof -- they have not one anything in 50 years

What I find most surprising about the tragedy is that there is something called an "elite" hockey league in the UK and that there were 8000 (!) people in attendance for one such game. This is almost twice the average attendance for a Coyotes game, for eg.

On a more morbid note, Sheffield (where the incident occurred) is historically known for producing high quality sharp blades/knives. And was the UK's "steel city", like Pittsburgh, where the guy played his NHL stint.

If they decide to move Hart they should have several serious suitors imo. Leafs, Devils, Sabres, Oilers. Ottawa made a mistake giving out that 5 year deal and that will hurt them down the line.

What a horrible tragedy. I found a clip of it on YouTube. The worst part is it was no accident. It appears the other player intentionally lifts his leg in the air in a reckless manner in an effort to leg check him or slow him down. This should warrant the equivalent of a manslaughter charge here. You have knives on your feet.

no that contract is way to long to take back. No interest in Boucher at all as do not think he will be an nhl player or at least a full time one.

Congrats to Jonesy and the public relations crew!! I just found out that they brought back the best goal song that they've ever had!! That would be "Ain't talkin bout love" by VH. They must have received my request. So much better than the other songs that they've had lately! Now they just need to bring back the roster that they had back then! Congrats and Thanks again!

I'm still looking st the kings and their deep pool of prospects. If they get desperate and goaltending holds them back they'd be a target if I'm DB

So tragic. I remember watching video and reading about the Malarchuk incident. If I’m remembering right, Malarchuk told his trainer he had 5 minutes to live and his trainer asked him if he could skate. Malarchuk skated off and rapid treatment saved his life. He was haunted by the incident.
