Per Friedman, Backlund is reportedly close to signing a 2x4.5 contract. Post on that and Pelletier tomorrow as well as a postgame.

i've been following this story from my end in New York Rangers territory. we lost a friend to this disease. i am also involved with a charity we run through endurance sports and have seen how it just destroys families. i am amazed at the stregnth and courage that Kelsie has shown for her family. to see a young man wither away like this without leaving proper memories for their kids saddens me as a parent.

Zary made it through camp last season and was sent down on October 2, 2022. He may have been injured after he reported to the Wranglers. The year prior he broke his ankle either in Penticton or in camp if I remember correctly.

Agreed! The organization owed him the opportunity. Here’s hoping Huska can get more out of Adam Ruzicka this season. 20 points in his first 25 games followed by 0 in his last 19.

2 years is pretty low risk and if he's able to maintain his skating, it's a good deal for a smart 2 way centre. Hopefully this opens the door to a couple more extensions.

Its going to be interesting to see how the lines shake out. The good thing is Huska knows a lot of these young guys and this will help out with thier development.

I would like to see Coronato getting some shifts in with Backs and Coleman.
