It seems somewhat obvious to me that Guhle will be the leader on this defence corps in the next few years, the one with the toughest assignments and playing the tough minute.
When looking at those six trying for four spots, one has to believe a trade will eventually happen. Look at what is possibly in Laval.....the pipe is full of talented prospects.

Will be interesting to see how this plays out.
With Mattheson and Savard (and likely Ghule) for sure in the line up, I think that leave Barron on the outside looking in for now.
I wonder if they will do something like rotate in / out Harris, WiFi, Kovacevic and Barron in the other 3 spots, getting each 50+ games (also, sicknesses and injuries happen).
That seems like the most logical approach, but time will tell.

I would have put Wideman as the one out.....and I do like the idea of some sort of rotation, especially if it gets each 50 games of NHL experience.
