Can they just forfeit the last two games? That would do everyone a service.

I think at this point the players just want to go home and not have to deal with injuries. Long season but good tank job.

Don't think the tank job was on purpose like Chicago did. Wonder how a healthy Habs lineup would have fared last night.

I think they would if they could and no one would complain about that, but that’s not how it goes unfortunately

Exactly, the Habs are trying to build something not to burn everything to the ground like the Hawks did. Those injuries were kind of useful in a way, made them lose more and they’ll draft higher thanks to that. Hopefully none of the injuries have lasting effects though…like Guhle’s knee i hope he’s properly healed and it won’t come back to haunt the Habs

I feel as though you should have condemned the rude, classless, and juvenile comments made by taxi boy Chris. Not doing so is both amplifying and supporting unsportsmanlike behavior.

They need to take a serious look at this situation. Not fun to throw medical staff under the bus, but they need to address this. Two years in a row now. Something is wrong with the way they manage injuries. It can't just be bad luck.

They're trained and paid to do a job, if they can't do it properly then they deserve scrutiny

Meh...most of the team said they didn't mind. I think that was frustration talking for Wideman.

Also, I must say...putting your emergency backup goalie in net just for poop and giggles...that's a bit weird. This is the NHL, the best hockey league. They wouldn't play a beer leaguer forward or defenseman.

totally agreed Stinger,
the Guhle example stands out imo. came back way way too soon. even us could see he was not 100% when he came back. conclusion, injured himself again.
and this in a meaningless season! imagine if they were fighting for a playoffs spot.

Edmonton already did it this year.

Toronto has been doing it with Wayne Simmonds all year

At this point the remaining guys are just limping the rest of the way. I read somewhere that St-Louis' style of play might be too taxing on players. They need to take a serious look at what they are doing for sure.

Jack Hughes ties the record for most points in a season with the devils.

Any of you still have the chart of leading scorers from 2019 draft? I know it was shared a lot earlier in the season.

Harvey-Pinard, Schueneman, Ylonen and Primeau sent down to Laval. Habs are giving the Rocket extra help for their playoffs push.
