You never know. End of season games can be crazy. Their last 3 games are Philly, Pit and Buffalo. If they are all out of the playoffs they all may field AHL rosters.
Also remember how the Bears got the #1 draft pick on the last day of the season. Crazy/dumb things happen. |

Wins by both CBJ and SJS plus a Hawks loss…..
Connor Bedard or Adam Fantili come on down….

CBJ & SJ likely won’t give any ground up
We’re gonna have to really suck for the final stretch to hold onto the 3 spot and keep the lottery result floor as high as it can be. |

Tuned in late but it looks like a rookie Dman on all three pairing. Vlasic, Mitchell and Kaiser. ... A preview of next yr with 3 rookie Dmen dressed?
Listening to the DAL feed. Mentioned the Hawks have had 42 different players and 6 goalies play this yr. |

Well looks like I’m already wrong thankfully, SJ with the W last night. Hawks now in the 2 spot for the lottery.
If they keep the 2 spot the lowest I think they can fall to is 4? If so that could really help versus potentially falling to 5 and 6 picking from the next tier of prospects. |

Vlasic leads all Dmen in TOI at 19:53. Kaiser 3rd at 18:17..... Kaiser gets his first point on a fine shift where he kept the puck alive and in the Ozone twice before he drove the lane and dished for an assist.
Kaiser getting comfortable shouting out instructions to backcheckers as he defends the rush. Jumping into play often off the rush and pinching low to keep pucks alive. |

Plenty of time for the final standings but the Hawks just might have a decision to make on Michkov if they land in the 4 spot.

We can all thank James Reimer for adding some fuel to the tank, he stood on his head last night and stole a game for SJ. |

Ah thank you Mr.Reimer. Was watching other games last night and seen it was 2 nothing Sharks, decided not to tune in as I would probably Jinx it. If Toews comes back hope he will not spark anything, we need to lose out .Its tough, but needs to be done in the best interest of the team going foward .. |

I watched the Dallas feed as I cannot listen to Vosters anymore. It is painful and while I would like to give him the benefit of the doubt that he will get better, it is frustrating to hear him call a game. |

I think we will see more of Classic, and Kaiser, because the play fairly fast, and let Mitchell play and play, until he has exhausted all hope as an all around dominant defender.
I don't have any freshness dates on Zaitsev ( I guess one more season would be his...)or Andreas England.
I think Tinordi will re-up, Maybe Murphy.
I think they will not set a path until after they know when they draft.
I can see veteran interest in signing with a rebuilding Blackhawks, especially if a star arrives via the first draft.
If not they will hold the course to the top pick(s) in 2023: https://www.lines.com/nhl/drafts/2024

You ignored my pre-final four NCAA review of Brindley taking all the face-offs instead on the centre on his line, Fantilli... |

I agree Wiz, just let Mitchell play four out of every five games at the very least. This way he gets consistent game action and gets to see up from above once every five games or so. I’d rather not see C Jones on the ice, but since he’s getting a lot of TOI, I’m a little worried that they will extend him. |

Problem is SJ and CBJ have all tougher games remaining. Hawks have several games left that they SHOULD win. Ugh.

Hawks sign Saarela
https://www.nbcsports.com...rela-entry-level-contract
- vabeachbear[url]
You know with Saarla, Savoie, Nazar arrival to join Richardinson, Kurachev and Entwhistle there will be plenty of speed and compete. I have to believe a veteran forward will be headlights certainly after next season and it shouldn’t be R Johnson - he can suffice as an extra. Probably AA will have served his purpose just fine so he has one more year here. Perhaps Entwhustle moves along because we have Seney, Philip around to fill out roster when injuries occur
I would check with Boston for T Hall as his big contract is a problem for them insofar as the salary cap. He could ho to our top line. Offer the Bruins Phillips and a prospect dmen like Allen but not Del Maestro and hopefully not Vlasic. Ruins always like a lot of size and or toughness so they might consider this type of trade.
As far as Mitchell goes, “goes” is a key word here: Wiz and a response on the board say to let Mitchell play until he exhausts possibility he becomes a dominant [ edit: descent] regular dmen. Or a bust
In goal either Mrazek or Stallock sticks as veteran and as many as three kids can rotate in goal (should Comesso sign). Just how well Stauber performs is a nice bonus.
Note I meant Richardinson, not Richardson above weird how I correct spelling then submit and it goes back to Ruchardson |
