yeah, they play hard, but still always allow 2x more SOG than they have. so unless our goalie plays on his head... don't expect different results. which is fine btw.
play hard, implement your culture, show signs of improvement as a team (little set back in that dpmt the last week, especially in the Dzone), and evaluate players to know who will be part of the team next year.
12 games to go, this cannot end soon enough.

well as far as I know nobody is forcing you to watch the games either...
while it hasn't been an amazing season I've been far more entertained compared to last year, most games have been way more encouraging, so I'm not as eager for the season to come to an end.

honestly, I can't wait for the playoffs to start. watching the different match ups of round 1 will be much more entertaining than watching this AHL team. |

that's funny because I actually looked up "preclude", as I wasn't sure of the meaning, but I thought it was just a common word you were using which is why I just acted like I already knew...
so thank you gramps, once again! |

I've been mostly satisfied with habs hockey despite them being closer to an AHL team but I agree the playoffs should be very interesting. |

cause I need to watch those things to know that?
I take a look at the lineup they have been sending lately and looked at the scores
they are losing 8-4-, 9-4 or whatever, 5-3. yeah
the way they are carelessy dealing with injuries as well. All bad. |

win or lose, the regular season is always too long imo. they should play 72 games.
maybe give a bye week if you don't want to lose too much money and add an extra round to accept 4 more teams in the playoffs, 2 on each side. best of 5 for 7vs10 and 8 vs 9, then resume with 1vs8 2vs7...etc. |

i had a word fanatic as an english teacher freshman year in HS. he was def top 3 favorite teacher i ever had.
went to the same HS. taught there for close to 35-40 years. had a real bad car accident some time before i went there for school which left his right side severely damage. taught himself how to write left-handed. one day a week he would write a poop ton of words, their origin and definitions on the blackboard for us to copy. of course at the beginning of the year we all figured we would be tested on them at some point. we never were. lol. in fact, i think we had like 5 tests all year.
he was so passionate about teaching at that school, when there were rumblings that some teachers might be transferred because of a minority hiring problem, he legally changed his name to a spanish sounding surname. lol
i prolly learned more from him than any other teacher of prof i had. |

If you won't love a team at its lowest then you don't deserve to have them at their best |

there's quite a difference between winning/losing games and implementing a winning culture, the scores and results definitely don't give the whole picture.

wtf, noice
sounds like he was a very interesting teacher indeed... I've had a lot of bad/uninterested teachers but I did get some very passionate ones as well, doing such a good job that I was actually motivated to attend class lol. |
