lets be honest, even if hextall was aggressive, we wouldnt get Meier we just dont have the young prospects to get it done. Pickering is like a B prospect, decent but not enticing enough as a centrepiece. Ty Smith, Pickering, POJ, and a 1st aint getting it done, and thats pretty much all our prospects that have any value

My favorite part of tonight so far is Carcass telling his teammates where he's going on each faceoff...AND LOSING EVERY SINGLE ONE lmao |

That has to be a save. Pathetic. |

Pens r lucky the sharks aren’t good. Most teams would have scored 5-6 goals. Pens playing overly aggressive for no reason. Not even getting puck possession or shots, but over aggression leading to multiple odd man breaks. No d zone structure. |

Your desperate attempts to fit in with the mob are getting cringeworthy. It’s like finding a spot to sit at lunch all over again, isn’t it? |

Man I guess we should wipe the multi point games for Sid, Jake, and Rackell from the stat sheet since the Sharks are a bad team… |

I fell asleep before the start, woke up on couch in the 2nd intermission, saw the score was 2-0 for the Pens and decided not to turn it on at all as to not jinx it.
Underlyings are showing a good first period, very bad second and a so so third that the Sharks were the better team in. Sharks won the 5 on 5 HDSC 16-11.

With the W last night, and some other metro teams losing, the Pens playoff chances have now shot up to just shy of 75%...it was 46% less than two weeks ago. |

I know as a fan I should always be rooting for the Pens to win... but I think Id rather see us completely fold if we can still drop to the 11th worst record. From that point the 5% or so chance to draft Bedard seems like better odds than us winning the cup.
Get something for Jarry, Dumo, Blueger and Zucker, see if someone wants to take Kap or Carter. Get a better approach going for next season.
Don't get me wrong, I could totally see us getting in the playoffs and knocking off the Devils or Rangers but nothing more than that. Better odds are on the Penguins playing good enough to win and having Jarry completely choke in the playoffs again.
