So far off to a good start. Battled and got a point out of the Ducks to kick things off then hanmered the Kings for a big win. Teams thinking to take the Kraken lightly are in for a rude awakening. 3 of 4 points is a good out of the gate start. Take all the early points you can get. See how we are 15-20 games in but so far looking very very good.

Not a great first period. Hopefully can find their footing more. Come out hard and start to grind back into this game.

Damn Jones is just keeping them in this and playing utterly brilliant. Major stops like a half dozen, including a penalty shot too.

Bad Soucy penalty and late 2nd pp goal makes it 3-0.

Borgen should NOT be seeing a lot of icetime. He has been exceptionally bad tonight. Up front only Donato and Wennberg have really stood out a lot. Jones had been holding Vegas at bay but the dam burst there. Maybe Gru takes the 3rd cause theyre not giving Jones much support and dont need to let him get utterly shelled.

Interesting with the Red Alert band and Bouy housting the colors but thinking tonight there is just no fixing the deflated mood.

What is Seattle's defensive scheme? Because there didn't appear to be one. Hell on Martinook's goal two hurricanes set up in front of the net undefended and nobody was out at the point challenging Slavin. Atrocious defending.

Our defensive scheme is the "headless chicken scheme". Skate around a bit and see if something works. Yes, our last two games were against good teams, but we don't seem to have any consistent system in place. That's all on Hakstol. And I hope he's on a short leash right now. Other note: send Shane to Kingston. If you're not going to give him the minutes, let him get them somewhere else. It's OK - he's 18. He doesn't need to be a star right now. Better to let him develop and have a chance to be a star for the next 10+ years.

Okay so it's not just me then. I was really baffled by the whole thing
