As I’m acting Chairperson of the HOFFA, I sadly cannot accept your nomination at this time.

Nominate me again next month. It’s almost a guarantee that I’m gonna get kicked out of office for over(frank)ing the chickens.

Enough of this foolishness! Saturday's win left us perilously close to falling from 9th to 10th place with 11th place not far behind.

Ottawa is doing a much better job than the Isles. They've lost their last 5. They obviously want it more than we do.

They need to consistently get back to that early season form. One more good dosing of that and we’ll be in a good position. This sometimes decent sometimes horrible kind of bad just isn’t bad enough. It ain’t Wright.

Consistency is needed because this team is still playing on it’s heels. It goes back further then the last two games, look at the ST L. Game. STL took 28 shots and Isles blocked 24 (52 attempts)and the game before vs. Canuck’s, they took 38 shots and Isles had 23 blocks, that’s 61 attempts on nets or playing on your heels.

I know I’m rambling but bottom line CHANGE the GAME PLAN. Troz can’t run this group like he ran Washington.

I think it's all pretty irrelevant at this point. They're 19pts out of the 2nd wildcard spot....their season is cooked.

Best thing that could happen is to dump whoever they can at the deadline, get a high pick, and retool in the offseason.

I agree but Trotz is not going to quit and neither are the guys. Tanking is out of the question. I agree they have to retool during the off-season. I feel a lot of changes happening

I'm not suggesting anyone will or should quit. Just saying that the best case scenario at this point is collecting whatever assets they can get for whoever they deem fit to trade. They're likely to end up with a top-10 pick.

As far as changes, it feels that way...but I also don't think Lamoriello is going to blow it up. Maybe a "big" name or two gets moved and they'll certainly be busy on July 1st.

There have been reports of a lot of scouts at the last few games. I think it's probable that at least one or two players get traded at the deadline.
