If MacKinnon actually made contact, it was minimal and purely accidental.

The overhead camera angle was extremely deceptive.

There is a quick breakdown of this deceptive angle on YouTube.

If something is going to be made of this, then we should talk about all the elbows and gloves refs eat breaking up scrums every game.

Also... many high-sticks are accidental - but they still result in penalties.

Let me get this correct, according to you, drunk driving is permitted as long as you didn't mean to kill anyone. Bettman has to go.
