I get he’s made some nice passes, but (frank) Subban. |

Also at what point does Recchi get told to go away. |

Subban is slow and not really his fault we had four guys lose a puck battle against two Flyers.
Recchi is the worst powerplay coach we've ever had. That last season with Kovy we gave up like 11 shorties but at least we scored a lot. |

I honestly think we need to just throw structure out the window on the PP and let the players skate. So many of them love to create with their feet and they all look so uncomfortable when asked to create with more structure. Worst thing that happens is we keep giving up SHGs.

Sure, why not. Anything is better than the nothing we have right now. |

0/3 with a SHG against tonight. Can’t hurt to try anything at this point. |

Unbelievable that anybody thought we overpaid for Hamilton. This guy is so damn good.
Johnsson and Bratt are pretty much a lethal combo now. Their passing cross ice to find lanes creates so much offense.
Siegenthaler had a really strong game and has been really coming on lately. He's been jumping up into plays too and keeping the offense alive. Feel like we got a steal with that trade. |

Agree on Siegs, I think he's been our third best defensman partly due to Sevo's slow start.

Agreed, that seems like the common thought out there from what ive seen recently. His analytics were good last year as well in his small sample but hes just progressively gotten better and better this season. He wont provide much of anything offensively but thats totally fine when hes been as stable as he is without the puck.
I'm glad hes finally getting some recognition, and i hope he can keep it up and continue improving. |

I was having this exact thought during the game. That Johnsson-Mercer-Bratt line is crushing the game right now, and they have tons of speed... why not put them out there against a team with 1 less player to deal with??? If that isn't easy money idk what is. Let them fly instead of this nonsense Recchi is forcing them into.
Throw that trio out there with Smith and Hamilton and watch poop get done.
Then have Zacha-Hischier-Tatar with Severson-Subban at the points. Done freakin deal.
Sometimes the simplest ways are the best ways. |

Severson was really being killed by Ty's horrible start. Away from him, Severson has been good. I feel like the fan expectations are that Severson is playing poorly if he isn't contributing a lot offensively which isn't really fair. |

Woah didn't you get the memo?? We're not allowed pointing out how awful PK is in this forum. Apparently it's not his fault he's slow and makes bad plays. |

It almost felt like one of those games where we played very well and almost dictated the game but found ways to lose
Had multiple top chances including breakaway and multiple posts and all it would take was a had bounce like on phillys second goal and that would have been the game
Luckily the Johnson mercer Bratt line has been great and creating offense

This is very true. He's taken some bad penalties and such but Ty has dragged him down so much. Severson's xGF% jumps up from 43.89% to 57.28% when he is away from Ty |
