Just caught the last two periods of today’s first game. Frankie (trade me??) Vatrano with a hatty. Huberdeau making a crazy sick pass to Bennett for OT winner.

Thanks, Rats - But you and the regulars on here deserve the thanks for creating a nice little Panthers community and putting up with some redundant blogs!

Though I’m trying to make some connections for more interesting content, I’m certainly no insider. Thanks for hanging tough.

I watched the first period, but missed the exciting second and third.

Just finished cutting the grass, cracked and cold one and have the game on…not too shabby!

I forgot to say that I’m not feeling that new score banner going across the whole top of the screen.

Hoping they tweak that before the regular season.

I missed the 1st and 2nd but caught the 3rd of game 1. Game 2 i missed most of the 1st but caught the rest so far. Some decent chemistry so far early

Think that’ll only be on the Panthers’ livestreams of preseason games. Looks like it was just a shot of the arena scoreboard patched in to the picture

Bennett only shows up for the playoffs, just so you know.

Earlier this week Q had this to say about the goalie situation,
Quenneville said he has some idea how he wants to handle the goaltending situation, with Bobrovsky coming off an unsteady year and Knight making a quick splash upon joining the Panthers when his final college season ended last fall.
Bobrovsky “made some adjustments” to his game in the offseason, Quenneville said.
“Bob’s going to have the workload and Spence will push him in some areas and some ways,” Quenneville said. “I think it’s a good, healthy situation. Bob gets the net and Spencer’s going to be the guy learning and absorbing.”

I think that’s how it should be for now. Let Knight get some experience, learn and push Bob.

I think they keep Monty in case of injuries. Don’t think they’d get much in return for him

Good point. I feel like he’ll be a part of a package at some point this season though. I have to believe he probably wants to be moved since there is no future for him here.
