2 games for Ghost and a $5,00 fine for Wilson...
Was the Ghost crosscheck a cheapshot...yup. The real problem, much like the Flyers in anyway, is consistency. I have no clue, is Ghost a repeat offender? I mean he would absolutely have to be to get 2 games instead of a fine.
I can't wait for the day when Bettman is gone because his era has been a joke. Players only get slapped on the hand when they do something bad, fine just do it to everyone. Hand out large suspensions for everything, fine do it for everything then. I just can not follow the rules anymore. Soon some goals will count, but others won't for a mystery reason. |

They'll just hire another yes man or crony to be a mouthpiece for what Campbell and the NHL brain trust (oxymoron, I know) want. Bettman is just a scab on a wound, and peeling it off won't fix anything.

good to see York playing well, the kids coming out of college seem to transition pretty quick to pro hockey, lets hope we see continued progress and more of them making it to pro hockey. With the 2 singings yesterday the Flyers actually signed a couple of players whose skating is a strength and skill upside, doesn't mean they will make it but good to see their is that type of player in the pro ranks.
Next season was always going to be the season, maybe they get good years from the Yorks, Allisons and maybe even O'Brien surprises. I say O'Brien because he has the skill set the big club needs, being ready is a long shot.
Keeping Forrester in Junior is that the option or the big club next season, Bill? Kid is really making it impossible to not give him a shot or be excited. |

hoping, we need something to look forward to.
I am in the minority but currently, if you are not tearing it down, the Flyers will need Ghost next season. Unless the pluck that top D or York is just lights out and they can't hang their hat on a young D again, can they?
I am ok with building around Ghost to max out what he brings if you can't land that all around top 2 D |

To be fair the real culprit is Colin Campbell, he's the main dbag. Everything he is in charge of is incredibly inconsistent (officiating, player safety, discipline action). |

I find sweaters on dogs very offending and actually cruel to the animal. Ghost deserved 4 games.

I was wondering this as well. He's obviously showing he can play with pros. I don't see the benefit of him playing junior at this point. |

Have to. They burned a year of his contract, why not give him a game or two? |

I used two examples of two types of players that you need an answer for. One goon in Tom Wilson. The other an Agitator in Brad Marchand. Both dirty. You need a response to both. |

I think Ghost will be who we lose in the expansion draft.
Ghost IMO has been our 2nd best defenseman this season. On pace for 40 points over an 80 game season. (20 in 40)
Top 10 in goals from dmen. The guy has had a bounce back year in many aspects. Its too bad AV never truly trusted him nor really understood what kind of player he was.
He was NEVER going to have another 65 point season and that rarely happens from any defenseman anyway.

ideally the response would be putting pucks in the back of their net. |

My moronic opinion is that Ghost has been playing to his own standard this season, which is a direct response to how poorly I felt he played last season. He’s had a pretty good season. |

yeah, AV blew it with Ghost this season and now losing him for nothing is the not the best.

Ghost not a superstar like Wilson are. Ghost should get the fine and Wilson the 2-3 games ban. Not fair from the NHL law firm Bettman & Daly |

I dont think anyone will argue that Ghost doesnt deserve a suspension but its just ridiculous how Wilson got Nothing but a fine for worse. Anyone defending him is clueless.
When players fight, punches stop being thrown the second a player goes down on the ice. Two fighting players never punch a guy lying on the ice. Wilson did this THREE TIMES! He punched a defenseless Buchnevich laying on the ice Multiple times, Strome Came to his aid Wilson took him down to the ice and proceed to punch him while he lies on the ice. Then Panarin comes in, Wilson Body Slams him to the ice and punches him repeatedly while he is on the ice.
This Was NOT a fight and it WASNT a Scrum. |

We’ve had the passed number of offseason to move Ghost. The Flyers probably could have traded Ghost for Kadri who can do as much as Hayes as a lesser cost. The Flyers chose not to. |

Erik Gustafsson has 12 points in 28 games...on pace for 35 points over 82 game season. Bounce back year for him too?
Gustafsson had 60 points 2 years ago compared to 3 with Ghost.
So are they the same or just doesn't fit the narrative?

What on earth was wrong with Mark Friedmann ?
I find it rather strange and even more so that he was moved to Penguins from Hextall the guy who drafted him |
