good write up on Brink, seems he has made a lot of progress with his skating and lower body.
Wouldn't it be nice if Brink reaches his full potential. A Couple dark horses, Brink and O'Brien. They have some attributes that could really help. We shall see. |

Provy, Sanheim and Myers, if the first 2 match last season and Myers takes a step forward it should go a long way towards a good season for the Flyers.

Outside of Carter Hart, yes he probably is the most important player on the roster. Maybe make a 1a and 1b case with Couturier. |

if he just turns into a solid everyday NHL payer would be fine. Need to keep the pipeline going with solid cheap entry level players. |

The defense after those 3 is to be kind very suspect. Not much confidence. |

I think you've hit the nail on the head with this one. The economics of the game with a flat cap combined with the skill level and ability of young stars to be impact players during their ELC or next level contracts make drafting well even into the 2nd and 3rd rounds all the more important. |

From the blog:
"Sweden extended its winning streak in preliminary round competition at the World Junior Championships to 54 straight games after outshooting Austria by a 65-6 margin"
So, the entire game was essentially a pp for Sweden. |

fair enough but I think all teams have that part of the roster, all teams need surprise seasons to make a real run. I am admittedly a glass half full guy. I like what the Flyers have in the system D wise. I think Hagg and Braun are ok bottom paring guys, plus good for the PK. With Expansion coming I think the Flyers set themselves up pretty well. If players like York and Zamula have good years, if Ghost surprise or Gus surprises they look pretty good for the season and even better next season. |

Agreed. The d is the biggest worry for me right now. You can’t just lose a top 2 dman and hope to replace them easily. Even if Myers makes progress, our depth is thin. In this sprint schedule in a brutal division, you know some players will go down.
I hope that fletch can swing a deal at some point on the season to sort this out, but dmen don’t grow on trees. Any way you slice it,losing nisky hurts |

The defense this season is going to be an issue imo. Its reasonable to expect Myers to have some hiccups. The talent gap between the top 3 and bottom 4 is big. Braun and Ghost/gus is fine for 3rd pair; just expensive to me. Having one of them in the top 4 on any consistent basis doesn't cut it for me. |

The NHL network is showing the games is what I meant.
Your "link" would be just through your online access to your cable/satellite/streaming portal, assuming your channel line up includes that network.
For "free" streaming, I assume Hockeystreams or one of its proxies would work? I do not know for sure though.
The WJHC is not being broadcast online through the nhl.tv portal though. (if you use NHL Network, you would need to have access to it on your tv). |

I'll give Xfininity a shot on my PC. Or I'll VPN from Europe and find a feed there, hopefully English |
