Plus, Nils Hoglander continues to impress at the World Junior Championship.

I think this weekend is sort of important to the Canucks. You want to be going in the right direction coming out of the break.

There are about 6 teams in the mix for final playoff spots . It would be nice to lead instead of chase.

If lafreniere is out for the rest of the tourney thats a serious blow. At this point I'd say getting a medal period is still up in the air.

It is tough for North American teams to go to Europe and succeed in these tournaments. Same as we have the advantage when played on our soil.

He really carried the team vs the American's. I had Russia as the best team in the tournament so the current result isn't surprising me too much.

I'm no Dale Hunter but some of the players chosen over others. Lavoie, Docker, Addison, Dudas, Bahl, McIsaac, Thomas are not players I would have picked.

Canada has more than enough players that can lead but surely didn't pick them.

I believe the Canadian team has become more and more political than in the past.
