Word is Tkachuck is nursing a small injury and could miss tomorrows game.
Any word on what's ailing him? |

Good thing that Dorion sent that “performance matters” message to the team before keeping Harper up and sending Wolanin and Jaros down.
We have the worst GM in the league, and I don’t think it’s close anymore. |

The only way I can live with dorion being the GM is by looking at your trade proposals and realizing how much worse it could be. |

Did anybody else get up early and watch Raonic win his match?
The next match between Shapo and Wawrinka was just awesome. I thought the kid was facing way too much firepower. Wawrinka is a big hitter and outstanding shotmaker. But, the kid stood in and in the end outhit him and made some huge shots.
Great entertainment. These guys are amazing athletes. And, right now Canadian players are getting huge attention on the international stage. |

Newsflash - it's a blog site. You post crazy things. Some of just hypothetical to start a discussion or thinking about what a move might equate to |

Melnyk won't sign anyone to a long term deal - I'll believe it when Duchene and Stone are resigned |

Another scout added to the organization...

This is Murphy's 3rd go with the Sens, he also scouted for Buffalo and another team. I'm not sure if that's good or not. I'm just finding it hard to believe or trusting management that any of these hires are any good or qualified.
It's good that the Sens are finally hiring scouting, but with all the BS surrounding the Sens, it makes me wonder if these new hires are any good at their jobs or if they're the least paid scouts in the league. |

I have no way to evaluate if the guy is good or not. All that can be said is that Tim Murray took him down to Buffalo and that Ottawa liked him enough to bring him back.
If we could only start to approach Winnipeg, St. Louis and Tampa Bay in terms of drafting - especially in the first round - then we will be in for a successful rebuild.
