I think I'm in the minority who thinks they shouldn't be buyers. Look, Tatar is an excellent player who is cost controlled. He's the type of player you'd hope Vegas would draft as youngster.

I just don't think Vegas should be selling any futures right now... none.

As far as the game tonight. Playoff type atmosphere, both goalies were on lock today. Tuch is gonna be seeing Quick in his nightmares tonight. Too many mistakes at the end cost them 2 points.

Reaves paying dividends already... Takes a stupid penalty that leads to the first Kings goal and it's all downhill from there. The game tying goal, great gift from McNabb not being to clear the puck and man that "hooking" call on Miller in OT was a joke. Good on LA for making Vegas pay for their mistakes.

Two points given away imo, should've buried them but they just missed too many chances. Great they get to do it all over again tomorrow.

I don't think they overpayed to acquire Tatar. He is not a rental and is a highly competitive and dangerous winger. If all the picks were this year than yes. However the first is this year, 2nd next year and 3rd in 2021. I would argue that it is a very fair deal.

McPhee said basically bc they only had to assume salary, gave up no assets and gained two assets. 4th rounder and reaves. Whether reaves is an asset is debatable.
