Jaden Schwartz is becoming an elite player at both ends of the ice. Had he not gotten injured, he would be a legitimate Hart trophy candidate. He drives possession 56.8 CF%, suppresses shots 57.9FF%, he is a point per game player 42P in 40G, he kills penalties, and he is on the top PP. He is 25 and is under contract for three more years at a very reasonable cap hit. Only reason to trade him would be as part of a package to get McDavid, which is not happening. Schwartz is staying in STL.
