ugh... here we go with Tanner's outlandish predictions....

please have these people test their wits in the stock market before they become sports bloggers. at least we can gauge whether they are right or not.

Selfishly, I hope he goes to the Blues. I'd hope the Blues would be dumb enough to give up one of Thomas, Kostin, Thompson or Kyrou for Nash.

Rick Nash is the perfect fit for a Sharks team searching for a new identity in the playoffs. A guy who can't score in them, but does everything else very well with platitudes about how great he was in the past.
- Adam French

If the Sharks are looking for a new identity, maybe they should acquire more players who actually can score in the playoffs.

Anyways, to sum up: The Oilers are terrible, it was easy to predict how terrible they would be based on how obviously bad their decision making is,
- james_tanner1

A lot of people think the Oilers are terrible, but I think they will surprise everyone and make the playoffs - at the very least come close.
- james_tanner1

So although you think they're terrible, and that you were able to predict that they would be, you also think they'll make the playoffs?

Please stick to the team that you sort of, kinda, not really cover.

Tanner just has to be different and bold.

EDM is selling right now, not buying.

Why are you guys so pessimistic?

They still have a 0.8 per cent chance of making the playoffs.

Just another article that shows Tanner knows next-to-nothing about hockey

You're probably overestimating his hockey knowledge.

Are you seriously surprised that an Oiler fan is pessimistic? Truly? For real?

I'm sorry, Tomsie.

I know it was particularly crushing for you as a Rangers fan - thinking that a trade with Chiapet was going to happen, only to have it cruelly ripped out of your hands.

I'm sorry.

I'm really, really sorry.

If the Oilers want Nash, then why not sign him as UFA? He'll probably come pretty cheap on his next contract and McDavid will likely be a pretty big draw.

Although, if I'm him then I'd probably rather go to San Jose or somewhere in California/Florida and play out the rest of my days in the sun.

He seems to know the names of the majority of the teams and a few select players from most of them.

But those players he knows, he knows better than anyone else.
