I'm interested in seeing who they will pair Carlo with. Does anyone know if it will be Chara-Carlo like the last preseason game, or will they default back to the Liles-Carlo line that was reported to have some chemistry?

Glad to see Carlo still there. Was one of the best all around D all pre-season and deserves a spot. Just sucks we have 9 D on the NHL roster (i'm sure O'Gara will be sent down soon). They need to trim the fat on the D, too many mediocre players ala McQuaid and Miller.

From boston bruins twitter:

White: Spooner—Krejci—Backes
Gold: Marchand—Bergeron—Pastrnak
Gray: Beleskey—Nash—Hayes
Merlot: Heinen—Moore—Acciari
Red: Czarnik

Chara—Carlo
Krug—O’Gara
Liles—C. Miller
Morrow

That 3rd forward line isnt much to look at. Kinda wish one of the younger kids would take Hayes' spot. But the D.....can we just leave it like that? Even after K. Miller and McQuaid come back.

Hope Carlo can handle the top line minutes. He will have to be back for when Chara gets beat.

Big big jumps for both O'Gara and Carlo. Both of these kids have potential but the coaching staff and least importantly the fans need to be patient.

The only thing I don't like is Nash. Hayes is what he is a bottom 6 forward. I don't have really expectations from him and hopefully someone else can step up over the course of the season and replace him. Nash is a fringe player at best and should hopefully be replaced by Czarnik when he's healthy.

I fully expect this to happen. At least, I hope it does. Vatrano hopefully bumps Hayes out too.

Pretty high expectations from the Jacobs family. What else is new?

K. Miller expected out for a lengthy time, so there is that!

Makes some decisions a lot easier at the moment

Will be nice to get an extended look at Carlo and O'Gara. I'm thinking when Quaider gets back, O'Gara will likely get sent down though.

LETS GET THE SEASON STARTED ALREADY!

Still better with one of McQuaid or Miller out.

Even with Quaider in I like:

Chara - Carlo
C.Miller - JML
Krug - McQuaid

That or switch C. Miller and Carlo but I like Carlo with Chara

I am just happy to see the younger guys in the lineup. Now lets see how they perform when it matters.

Not all that sad if he does, he's down the pecking order now with a few young guys coming through. Pulkinnainen on waivers from Detroit too, so a lot of teams may like him over Seth also. I wont be surprised either way!

LOL, well sucks to be him.

Still hate losing prospects for nothing, even if his chances of being on the Bruins was slim.

Hey, at least we aren't the Wings right now!

But yeah, giving away decent prospects isn't the coolest thing to do

Was kinda hoping he would make the team, have a halfway decent showing this year, then get selected by vegas.

That would have been nice! I think no matter what, Subban will be the one Vegas takes. Cheap and has promise. I think that will be the selection from Bruins. Thats why they should try and move him via trade
