hehe...When I first read the headline, I thought it said "It's MY kids dream....".
I thought his dad was about to end up on the unemployment line.

Why would Vesey want to play for an incompetent managed Bruin's team that is on their way down, when he can play for the best coached & managed team in the NHL: The Leafs! |

That's why Kessel was shown the door. |

Vesey? Meh.
The Leafs have a hometown boy of their own that they're looking to sign. |

Vesey is going to want to play left wing on the second line with Auston Mathews and Mitch Marner, behind our first line of Stamkos and VanReimsdyke and Nylander. |

Wow, Leafs fans are all over this blog lol.
I think Boston is a strong possibility for Vesey.
Maybe he'll choose Boston to fulfill his childhood dream of playing for his favorite team, maybe he'll choose Toronto to be with family, or maybe he'll choose somewhere totally different just to mess up all our fan predictions... |

Mapleleafs management is only good for tanking. Vesey to Boston is a done deal. |

Ty, you should have left out the quote about #19 because he liked Jumbo Joe. He will likely be hated and not wanted by most on this board because of it.
I would love for Joe to get a Cup. |

For sure man. I'd really like for this to be Joe's year! - clintyboy
I think they may be the best bet if they win there series against Nashville (my second most likely to win the Cup team.)

Many seem to dislike him for some reason. I work with an older guy that's a Detroit fan and he doesn't like him either.
Don't understand why there is dislike for him. I like him as a player and wish we still had him.
Ironic isn't it...........?
Kessel moves on. Thornton is working to move on. Seguin's team is working to move on.
Boychuck's team lost in the second round. Smith had a great season with the Cats
(frank)ing morons running the Bs trade these guys away and tell us for years they are missing "something" and here they are this year helping teams win.
Wish the fans and Bs management wanted to win instead of having a team of grinders with no hands............
Big, Bad Bruins giving there fans a Championship every 43 years or so............ |

To be fair, not one guy you mentioned won a cup with or without Boston.
Thornton is my favourite player. Bought his signed bruins jersey. I have been watching the sharks play just to see him. But without that trade, none of the other dominoes fall into place. I loved that whole team Joe was apart of. Samsonov, Murray, Axelsson, even Lapointe. But they collapsed and instead of the weak management taking the fall, they put it on Joe (Who played with broken ribs in the finals I believe?)
Yeah we made bad trades, but we made good trades too. Without the Kessel trade, there'd be no Seguin or Hamilton.
Everything happens for a reason. And no one liked Smith when he was here, so put that one to rest.

its cause he wasnt Cam Neely and we wanted another Cam Neely. He also disappears in the playoffs, and reminds everyone of Mike O'Connell. He also seems like he's just having fun playing the game, and we all know hockey is serious business.
side note: Mike Sullivan has done a hell of a job w the pens, i'd give him the Jack Adams were up to me. |

Fine you outlier!
But seriously I did too, I thought he would be the next big thing, thought I'd end up getting a jersey of him as well. Even drafted him in fantasy two seasons ago. But he just seemed to play like he didn't care. A little more effort could have gone a long way.

So the Bruins are just going to pick up the Flyers old mantle then? Need Defense? Acquire more forwards. Let Vesey go to Toronto. Let them all eat Richards.

Nah, Sweeney probably believes that he can improve the D by "promoting from within" still. So right now he is courting Vesey and looking for ways he can sign more forwards. Get ready for another year of Chara playing top minutes with an AHL partner and a D core that leaves their goalie out to dry.....every......single......game |
