Any of the top three would fit in right away. A top nine would look great with Mathews, Puljujarvi or Laine.
Sedin Sedin Hansen
Baertschi Bo Laine
Rodin Sutter UFA
Sedin Sedin Hansen
Baer Bo Puljujarvi
Rodin Sutter UFA
Sedin Sedin Hansen
Baer Bo Etem
Rodin Mathews Sutter
The third top nine group is the one I want the most but wouldn't complain about the top two groups either. |

Can we now call the Blackhawk dynasty a non-dynasty? |

Is Hansen really a good fit with the twins? I like Hansen's game a lot but I don't think his style of game suits the twins well.
He goes to the net but doesn't stand in front of it. Seems to get his goals off the rush and not by cycling the puck. Is good on the defensive side of the puck but he does that by disrupting plays and slowing it down by mucking in the corners. The only time the twins go into the corners is in the offensive zone. He's also got a little dirt to his game so the twins aren't the kind of players you want backing you up.
I like Hansen on the 2nd or 3rd line. I like him playing against the other teams top lines. Plus some scoring depth will be required. |

Hansen is way better suited playing 2nd or 3rd line. If we pick a FIN, then give them a shot with the Sedins. If we get Matthews, slot him on the 3C and let Sutter play with the Sedins. |

I think you need to win multiple years in a row to qualify as a dynasty. Not win one year and get bounced in the first round the next, rinse, repeat. |

I disagree, I think he suits there style very well, the Sedins don't need someone to just sit in front of the net.
They need players to retrieve pucks and be able to shoot in the offensive zone and someone with speed to cover for them if the puck goes the other direction.
Burrows in his prime did this and Hansen has been able to as well. I really like Hansen with Bo as well but he has for years when given the chance made the Sedins better players and last year we saw him able to convert a high % of his opportunities. |

It is tough to play with the Sedins, I don't care how skilled a rookie is, it takes a time to learn how to play with other guys and this team will need their top line producing most nights. |

I think the thing with the Sedin's is you need options.
Players seem to work well for a handful of games, then disappear.
It is optimal to have 2-3 players that can rotate into that spot to mix things up and keep the opposition guessing.
Hansen, Sutter and Burrows in a pinch would be my guess for next season.
With a sprinkling of Rodin and/or JV to see if any magic can be bottled. |

True would have been far nicer if the Canucks had cone the dancing rather than watching it from their laptops while on vacation.

I'm wondering if Anton Rodin was signed with the intention of him being Vrbata's replacement to play with the Sedins?
Apparently he's able to play either wing, is a good playmaker (so Daniel can still be the primary trigger man), and is fast. Willie has said repeatedly they need to play with someone can get into the offensive zone quickly and retrieve pucks for them.
Rodin's prospect profile makes him sound like a more offensive version of Hansen.

Benning said he expects him to score around 15 goals and get some PP time also. |

Who cares about the fake, "original six"?? old people... that's just a marketing ploy by the NHL to highlight teams that aren't even the original six in the league. it's just the teams that were on hand after WW2.
total joke. Canucks should start an originals series with the senators, etc... and start selling old schools jerseys from the maroons, senators, seattle team, etc... |

you need at least two in a row to be a dynasty... or a minimum of 3 cups in 5 years.
those are the rules for dynasty status... anything less is just regular... oh and i forgot, shortened seasons only count for 1/2 a cup, not the full cup that a regular season counts for... so there's also that. |

That i could see. His skill set seems better suited on the PP. |

I know Benning has seen him play recently, but there are a lot of questions about him being a NHL player. We will find out soon. |
