I know the 4th line is creating lots of pressure and offensive zone time but they need to reduce their playing time. We need more scoring and the combined 20 goals by this line during the regular season equates to 2 goals over a 7 game series. Bring new bodies on the 3rd line and get more ice time for top 3 lines. |

I am going to be unpopular.
I start Neuvirth. Not because Mason has been bad but to try and get some momentum. I saw the Redwings do it and they looked like they had new jump at home.

Problem is the top line isn't really doing much. If they were creating more chances I think you would see them more.
I think Schenn has been playing well.
But the top line needs to bring more. Everyone loved the Simmonds fight but I would love for him to make something happen on the scoresheet. |

Hockey is about limiting mistakes.....they are going to be made. The Flyers need to stick with this. Both games really could have gone either way. Holtby has been great. But in this league you don't win if you don't score. Washington is a great team but the Flyers have a team that can get this done...certainly not easy but not impossible. |

I think it probably is being or has been considered...not sure the Flyers do it but I would not be shocked... |

Lets hope we can exploit some matchups now that we are home. Has the feeling like we need to take 2. Time to flip the special teams and take the games at home |

I really dont think it is the time. If Mason lets another bad one in you make the switch or if something isnt working during the game. Let Mase have a chance to fix his mistake |

Agreed. The 1st line is struggling. They need to get Jake driving wide and cutting to net hard like last season. It's seem to be a confidence thing not a health issue. Maybe place white on 3rd and swap read to 4th line. Little changes can go make big impact |

My reason really has nothing to do with the mistake. They don't really have any lineup changes they can make other then Mason.
Also Neuvirth did play well this year.
Same with Howard and Mrazek. Howard played well down the stretch. Lost the first 2. Not because he was bad. Redwings made the change. Team looked like they had some extra jump.

I would add raffl to the top line with Giroux and Voracek. They have played well before and I think Raffl's skating and simple game work well with Giroux and Voracek.
Schenn, Simmonds and Laughton would be my 2nd line. They have skill and can play a more physical game.
Cousins, read, Gagner can be a 3rd line.
and then the 4th line.

We need a Giroux vs Crosby type of performance from G tonight. Let's go. Knock Ovechkin on his ass and bury one.

Maybe...not going to disagree with you about that. They also played at home and Mrazek has the most talent...was just slumping. I agree with no other lineup changes though (Medvedev?) |

See how he does at home. If they lose this one, I think they start Neuvirth. |

They really could use some big hits. They got demolished in Saturday's game. |

I do like schenn and Simmonds together. Very difficult to contain and defend their strength and determination. Gagner and read moving down the ladder would be a option I would like to see. |

I just think waiting until your down 3-0 is a little late.
They need to make this 2-1 tonight |

The 1st line looks like hell. Almost no sustained pressure in the offensive zone because they're constantly losing every 50/50 battle for pucks and then even when they do win them and get it to the point, the shots are blocked or miss the net from the d-men (outside of Ghost). G is getting knocked on his arse half the game, yet the Flyers haven't done the same to Ovechkin. There needs to be more pushback on that front! Sad to say it, but the 4th line has spent the most time in the Caps zone...sucks they have almost zero offensive ability! |
