Here we go boys! Win it for Ed! We get a split in Washington and lookout. I'm sure Hakstol has highlighted the fact that No one.. and I mean no one is giving them a chance to win this series... prove em wrong.

Tonights the night boys! LETS GO FLYERS!!!!

Flyers are going to have to move the puck quickly in this series, and are going to need to score 3+ goals to win. I would certainly play Medvedev over Manning, his skill set is much better. Sure he turns the puck over, and is inconsistent at times, but so is Brandon Manning.

I believe that Mason will continue his strong play. The worry for me is the PP. In order to win this, we need great goaltending, and solid special teams. If the PP remains stagnant, I'd say we're in trouble. Get in Holtby's kitchen and wreak havoc. Pressure is all on them, and we come home 1-1 wow they'll be nervous.

Agreed. I think I would keep Schenn on the top line as well. He's earned it.

At this point, I think the solution to the PP woes would be to take Jake off the first unit and put Streit in his place. Shift Ghost to Jake's spot and put Streit closer to G. It would force the Caps to pick which side to force the play on (G or Ghost) and with how Jake's been shooting/passing the puck lately, it could only improve things!

Schenn and Couturier have good chemistry, too, however. That perfect pass by Couturier to spring Schenn (on the play where, a couple seconds later, Murray got hurt on the collision at the net with Schenn) happens pretty regularly when those two are on the same line.

Good chance for some secondary scoring, which the Flyers will need.

Suprimeau video for the ecf of 2004 set to superman theme music? I loved that, and of course my favorite all time flyers pump up vid is he Hextall montage set to puff daddy come with me. (frank) I love that.

One of those assignments that editorial depts have to do... I'm sure there are 16 different versions of the article -- one per each team in the playoffs. Wasn't Adam's idea.

It feels like forever since we've had playoff hockey. In all of Sports, it simply doesn't get any better.

If you had read a similar article in 2010, even just one saying they'd get to the Final, the reaction would have been the same.

Anyway, I didn't mean it as a pejorative, I would love to feel that positive about the Flyers winning it all. I feel like they can beat Washington. But I also feel that the effort they would need to put forth to win 16 games as they are currently built is beyond all human endurance.

That being said, that kind of sucks that an employer would do that to a writer.

It was great to see #88 in there...definitely my favorite player of all time and the haters can suck it. If the HHOF wasn't such a political game, Big E would be in.
