I would like to thank the refs for handing the game to Detroit. The blown offside goal and the obvious high stick pass that resulted in 2 goals for Det. |

Brad is having a great year.
The Bruins are probably going to make the playoffs but we are not Cup favorites. I hope Don Sweeny and the staff trade Loui for picks, prospects. It won't serve us to keep him or give him the money he wants at that age. Good player but past 30 can't make mistakes with bad contracts.
Krug...for a guy that get's alot of PP time, only 24 points this season. I thought he would bring his offensive game to the next level and be a 45-55 points guy. 37th in defenseman scoring. I'd expect a bit better from him.
Go Bruins! |

Yet another two goal lead blown, ridiculous. What's the number at of games where this has happened? Imagine getting the 2 points out of each of those games like we should have? We'd be leading the Atlantic.
This team has issues, plain and simple. Left Tuukka out hanging to dry yet again. Tuuks needs to battle harder though. It seems like he's given up on this team, but then again, he can only stop so many grade A scoring chances, and there were many of those yesterday afternoon. Kevan Miller continues to be an absolute liability back there, Chara looks lost in his on end and constantly turns the puck over. Krug cant hit the (frank)ing net or get his shots through. Remember when he was so good at getting his bomb at the net, and it would either beat the goalie or create a big rebound? What happened? He hasn't scored in over 2 months, and hasn't scored a PP goal in almost a full calender year.
On the brightside on the backend, I think seids has been really good. Easily our best defenseman in our own end this season. All the kids have been good as well. Tough for Joe Moe and Colin to stay sharp after being healthy scratched for long periods of time, especially when 86 should be the odd man out. Everyone chirps Quaider for what he brings to the table, but this team misses him, and that's evident. He's a great partner for Torey as well, and him being out for a long period of time has had a negative effect on Torey's game |

I hear the wahmbulance won't be able to get me until next year. They are All tied up with Habs fans this year. |

It shouldn’t surprise you when I say this, but the Bruins are goin’ nowhere without Bergeron.
This team is going nowhere great as currently constituted. They're a "playoff team" in a weak division. A total fraud. It serves no benefit for them to try and make it in so they can get leveled by Holtby and the Caps again. Sell what you can at the deadline and in the offseason. Let's not be Calgary the last 4 years of Iginla's time there. Start the rebuild now. |

Don't forget the puck that went out of play on 4th goal. If Detroit had the same type of officiating the Bruins have they'd be down with Toronto. |

If the Caps get upset by a team with a hot goalie early in the playoffs...who else in the East is unbeatable? I think if the B's add one decent guy on D, they can hang with any non-Capitals team in the East.
I'm not saying the Caps will get upset (they probably wont), and I'm not saying the B's will definitely win the East if the Caps do go down. But it isn't outside the realm of possibility to say they'd have a fighting chance against any other team. B's should only sell if it helps them add to the current team, i.e. Loui + more = top-4 Dman |

Looking like B's and sharks will both make the playoffs, meaning picks 15 and below. What are the chances that trading both 1st's and a prospect like koko or debrusk or senyshyn gets a top 5 pick at this years draft? |

In a 7 game series they'll get beat by just about anyone who is playoff team. They struggle to get points against bad teams especially at home. They get crushed by good teams especially those from the west. The amount of shots allowed is atrocious. They're insanely thin at every position except center. Rask always pisses down his leg when it matters. Yeah looking good. |

I'd be willing to dangle Pastrnak out there to bring in a dman like Shattenkirk. |

Good thing they dont have to play any western conference teams in the eastern conference playoffs.
Also, I know it's the cool thing to hate on Rask, but Tuukka took the B's to game 6 of the Stanley cup finals. He was also the goalie for a Pres. trophy team and won a Vezina. Yes, having a good D helps. No, he isn't Dominik Hasek in his prime...but saying he's garbage is disingenuous.
Add to the D, roll in as the 'we-get-no-respect' underdog, and hope the Caps get tripped up. East is weak. |

More likely that Sweeney gives up Pasta for something a lot less significant. |

Wut? What's cool about having a 7mil per year albatross cap hit for a goalie who never steals a game, never elevates his compete level, and never seems too upset about letting in tons of trash goals. The guy is disengaged. Also game 6? 17 seconds.
The D get's no respect because they leave a lot to be desired on the ice. I understand you want to be optimistic which is admirable but come on. What exactly are you watching? Are you missing one of the easiest teams to play, to score on? Are you even seeing the amount of blown leads? This equates to being 1 guy away from legit? |

Insanity. Two firsts and a top prospect for a top 5 pick? Not worth it |

Apparently Feds was willing to give up Drouin for Koko and a 7th. Then we can flip Drouin and Pasta to the stars for Patrik Eaves and Antoine Roussel. - dothedougie

Totally worth it if you ask me. with the amount of prospects we piled up at last years draft, the college free agent signings, and past prospoects, this team is stocked with average level propspects. You get a top 5 pick, especially this year, and you get an impactful player in your lineup for next season, something this team is in desperate need of. |

Maybe we have different ideas of what 'legit' is. The east is weak after washington, I assume you at least agree with me on that point.
So if the B's add a defenseman, you're telling me there's no chance at all that the B's can make noise against Detroit? or Florida? or Pitt? or NYR/NYI? or some stupid team that sneaks into the wildcard like NJ? You're just having fun throwing a pity party. All of those teams have holes and of course the B's could beat them in a 7 game series. Could. I'm not saying they definitely will, just that they could.

Amen. Its nice to see someone not leaping off the ledge. They need to work on there defensive structure for sure but they can certainly make some noise in the playoffs. No team is unbeatable in hockey.
I will say that Tuukkas confidence is shot right now. He acts like he isnt seeing anything. Maybe he isnt.
I am on the BUYER bandwagon. Get into the playoffs and see what they are made of. If they avoid the wild card, we most likely face Tampa or Florida. Both winnable. They are only 4 points out of first in the division...
