Classy way to treat a player returning after moving on to a new organization. Cheers to you Bruins fans.

Why are we calling that a fluky bounce off Millers stick? He backhanded it right to him. Just one in a long list of huge mistakes that guy makes, if hes a forward, Clooooode would have sent his ass to Providence to rot.

I'm sure after last night Lucic is happy he got traded to a team that has a shot to win another Cup while the B's flounder with being good enough in the East to make the playoffs but have no shot to win the Cup.

Too bad the B's, can't trade an overpaid defenseman like the Leafs just did...

I was there. I watched this this team simply quit. It was pathetic. The leadership on this team is non-existent.

Time for Cluade to go. This is not a team that simply needs a retool. Sweeney wants to focus on speed, transition and skill. Julien is not the right coach as he has no patience for youth especially young defencemen.

Rask should be dealt. I was huge supporter of him but the evidence is there and it as on display again last night . He is very extremely overrated and as a result overpaid. This contract is an albatross and will continue to be.

Rip the C off Chara. No emotion last night. I know he's not a ra-ra guy and I don't think that poop really matters to pros. However no attempt, not even a (frank)ing pulse. This is not a bid for Bergeron either. He was part of this. No C for rest of this painfully (frank)ing mediocre season.

Other than Randell and Eriksson they were a (frank)ing embarrassment last night. At least start with Claude. Time to go.

(frank) you Bruins. You deserved all you got last night.

I just wish I was sitting closer so I could have thrown any and all trash I could find on the ice they just disgraced. That includes the jersey I plan on throwing in the fireplace later tonight.

Maybe the team is collectively still going through the emotional pains of losing Looch. The heartbreaking sight of seeing him first hand in another team's uniform must have been crushing.

Don't be so jaded. These are people with real emotions....

Send your overpaid D to the Leafs, just be sure to include some nice prospects or draft picks.

eeesh! Sounds like you needed to give this the 24 hour rule and sleep on it.
Quitting is not acceptable and and it looked like they did quit on TV, as evidence by the score and shot totals. The Bruins organization from management to players as well as the fans clearly got a wake up call last night. They simply are not good enough, plain and simple. To their defense, LA got a lot of crazy bounces where probably 4 goals were fluke.

I have tried to not get my hopes up and think of this a building year. I learnt my lesson after the Winter Classic. This team is bound to be wildly inconsistent, its just part of the learning curve. What I do have an issue with is determining what is the end goal? What is Sweeney's master plan. If he has one in the near future, then I can stomach the inconsistencies until we get there.

I have to disagree with the Rask comment. He is a world class goalie and is playing in front of a defence that is not acceptable at an NHL level. It just doesn't matter what goalie you have right now. Any goalie in the league falters with a mediocre defence.

The defence is the problem, they lose coverage down low constantly. To me the main culprit is Trotman, and I think he needs to go. As well K.Miller.

Nope. This team is soft. They were soft last year and they're softer this year. They get pushed around, lie down and take it especially when playing at home. So much now I think they enjoy it.

As for Rask it's not about just last night it's his pro career as a whole. If he is really that good then imagine the return you get for him if Sweeney doesn't (frank) it up. I would simply point to Corey Crawford. He makes the saves he needs to. Steals games when the time comes. The kid is a winner. Rask does none of that. Rask is a loser.

Last night made me realize that Louie needs to be traded for some D help. Louie will be hard to replace, but I don't think we lose much with bumping another player into the top 6.

The coverage issues down low around the net are happening game in and game out. That was a direct result of almost all the Kings goals last night.
Players like Trotman, K.Miller, Morrow seem to be trying to do too much and as a result are leaving their man wide open. Some pretty easy goals around the net.

Their is no other way to describe it but the D core is an absolute mess. Sweeney created it and he must fix it FAST! K.Miller and Trotman have to go. I would try to mold Morrow and C.Miller, but they should only be seeing limited minutes on a 3rd pairing. Sweeney needs to find a top pairing guy, and maybe a vet that isn't flashy but plays a solid game to fill in the bottom pairing.

If they weren't so desperate for D help. K Miller would and should be on waivers this morning. The Kings cut right through them and entered the offense zone time and time again without effort.

agree. Team is soft! Of course this was gonna happen when we traded Lucic. The team identity went out the window. However Bruins, got a good return for Milan. And he just isn't a 6 mil dollar player.

you have to realize Crawford has a world class team in front of him. It kinda helps having Keith and Seabrook playing 25 minutes in front of you.

it is just horrible. Chara, who I won't even comment on has to play with one of these bums every night. We need a legit top pairing guy so he can play with Chara.
That slots everyone else better.

This is why Claude has to go. If C Miller is good he is not going to get any better sitting up in the 9th floor. Yet K. Miller and Trotman are still out there...sucking.

Also, what's the problem with Randell? Why is he not on the roster over Talbot, Rinaldo, or Ferraro. At least he stands for the team. Who frankly didn't deserve it last night.

The Rask comment is out of line. Rask has stood on his head several games this season. How often do you say "COME ON RASK" at the tv? He has mediocre rebound control, I agree, but he is no loser. There are not 5 goalies in the league I rather have than Rask IMHO. Even last night, like someone said, most of the goals were flukey. K. Miller screwed up a couple times, one was a PP goal. Only really the 5th goal on him is where I blame Rask. The rest were so BS.

If Boston didn't ring 3 posts in the first and converted on a couple of those scrums, it could have easily been a 3-0 or 3-1 game. Even 4-1 game if they were lucky. Instead, they were unlucky and it took its toll.

That being said, I hate last night, and blame them completely, but I'm not abandoning ship. There is no reason to. A proper defenseman is on his way, it's just a matter of time. It is a transition period. And a better one than we expected. Everyone thought they would miss the playoffs. Now Boston is in contention for 2nd in the atlantic and we're whining when we lose to a top 5 or 6 team in the league? Grow a pair. Shake it off. It was an embarassement, but it's over now. Time to redeem ourselves from the embarassement we had in October due to Irwin (RIP).
