Every move made by Tim Murray, has turned out to be the best for the team minus the Winnipeg deal (injury plagued Bogosian and Kane) but I'm still waiting to see the season play out for them both. Risto looks way better than Meyers so I'm still optimistic about both Bogosian and Kane's upside. |

The only move i didnt like so far was giving up the 21st pick in a deep draft for Lehner. Time will tell on that trade, but for now it hasnt paid dividends.
I think the fact that because Ottawa had Anderson and Hammond higher on their depth chart, along with acquiring Boston University star Matt O'Conner, the Sabres should have been in a better position to negotiate this trade without giving up this year's first round pick. |
