The logical move is to bring back Strome.
But we all know its going to be Beck or the new Islanders Sensation BERNIER at Center.

Well right now it sure looks like Grabovski could be good to go by Friday. |

It's Friedman, so it does have some legs I assume. |

Kind of hope this hamonic thing is false, hes such a good defensemen
It makes sense though it moves pulock ot mayfield up
Snow doesnt want picks or prospects so ill take a goal scorer for jt.....his contract is so cap friendly its insane that garth signed him to it.....what do my isles fans think what would you guys want back |

So Hamonic potentially on the block? What do you want for him?

If this is in anyway true, bad news for the Isles, unless they get back an equal defenseman. Can't imagine the Isles would let one of their best young D-man go for anything other than an equal replacement. |

Yeah, and who would bother making that deal? It seems pointless to me. |

I'd find it difficult to believe that they would prefer to keep de Haan over Hamonic. Sure, Hamonic would fetch a bigger return...but why the hell are you looking to trade one quality young defenseman for another (likely more expensive) one? Something doesn't add up. Unless he requested a trade, that's literally the only scenario in which this makes any sense. |

Exactly, you would need an equal defenseman who doesn't want to be where they are currently at. Sucks when a player wants to leave(if this is true) the team that has that player usually loses. |

I don't know what the hell WPG would send. If Snow trades him for a pending UFA in Byfuglien or Ladd I'll blow my (frank)ing top. I highly doubt they want to part ways with Ehlers. |

Thats the implication, and if true, you probably lose whatever trade would happen. |

I don't think he actually requested a trade, but it does appear to be the player who instigated it, not the team. |

Only one year older, similar great contract. He's having a nice bounce back year too. |

I agree what you have said, but have to remember Pulock & Mayfield are also RH dmen and Pulock could push Hamonic for that top 4 spot. Isles could use a luxury on 1 end to fill another luxury on another. Not implying anything, just making a case of why I could see it... |
