Update: Nux are just a couple points away from being first in our division. Why should the team lose. Get into the playoffs and anything can happen. Who would have predicted the Nux path to the cup final in 82'... No one. |

I second this.
We are picking points up at an alarming rate from crappy Western Conference teams. |

Exactly, only way id trade him if it was a solid offer, kinda like what flyers got for coburn. (1st 3rd and gudas) but chances of an offer like that would be slim - phyllee
This is where conditional picks come into play, Trade hammer for a Conditional 2nd, condition being that it turns into 1st of make conference finals, turns into 2nd/3rd if 2nd round, and stays 2nd if out first round or misses playoffs. GM's lately will often gamble like this. Hence why Chicago payed 2 2nds(i think it ended up being) for that 38 year old defenseman. |

True, but they also gave a first up for Vermette. |

I think we should go with six attachers and turn our net around, just maybe we have a chance, lol I would come back with Miller, he certainly want to make amends.
I thought Virtanen had a strong game, this kid can skate and would like to see him get another shot with the twins. He is a physical presence and I think he can score too. No use playing him on the fourth line if your projecting him top six. |

This team needs a dman who can run a power play. Edler has been very erratic with the puck with horrible passing and giveaways. Hopefully he gets tuned up soon. When Bartkowski is you point man that tells you all you need to know about the pp drought. All I want is wins, plain and simple and an honest effort! |

Horvat started 4th line, no shame in it. 4th line is often better for rookies simply because it helps gain confidence when in your offense when you have more defensively responsible players around you. The twins are so slow now that JV would need to back check all the time when they gobble the puck like they did in the buffalo game. |

Based on the highlights afterwards, that glove contains the secrets of the universe. Is there a God? Why do bad things happen to good people? Is there life on some distant planet? What exists on the other side of an event horizon? For the answers to these questions and more, stare deeply into Miller's glove and all will be revealed. |

True enough, I just can not wait for JV18 to start scoring. (Drafted him in a keeper) I love his speed, grit and size for a youngster and I have no doubt about him being a goal scorer in this league one day. I keep saying to myself, patience, patience, lol |

I want losses. wins don't do us any good.
Bartkowski is the closest thing we have to a pp quarterback. |

I know we have beat this to death but since Salo and Ehrhoff left our PP has shown no real consistency. Yes Ehrhoff was a defensive nightmare but for some reason he and Salo had it going on with the PP. The proper right hand shot just lends itself to the way the Sedins move the puck on the PP. If we continue with the Sedins on PP1 then this right hand shot is absolutely crucial. When the Sedins are off PP1 then we can look at other options. |

I remember the days of Jyrki Lumme and Jeff Brown QB'ing the PP. Even Hedican, Sopel, Jovocop and Aucoin did a better job than what we are seeing today.
