This will probably be less exciting than the Buffalo game, which was pretty boring, but they need the two points. |

Start Bachman. Miller needs a break from the humidity swings.
Can we make Kinkaid (if he starts) look as good as we made Ullman look yesterday?

Badly. Or a tope ten pick
I like a 2-2 game then take your pick in OT. Cammalleri in OT or Horvat in OT.

Here's the update:
Miller plays.
Keith Kinkaid plays.
Tanev is the injured defenseman. He's day-to-day. Biega plays. |

Not a fan of it.
I hope he regrets it.
Not sure why he's starting today.
I'd be happy with a convincing win today, hoping the kids light it up! (Not in the jazz cigarette sense, of course, not there's anything wrong with it) |

meh. Goalies are always getting called out, often at least,.. we needed a stop there, we needed a big save, the puck was deflected, but the goalie should have had it (to protect the skater's feelings..) They take the heat almost all the time, can't blame him for a little frustration after getting off to a good start. He's battling in there.
Don't want to hear it too often, but he has a point with blown 3rd period leads or points. |

Yes and no.
Only really if it's a situation where the coaches' message isn't getting across. Sometimes something needs to be said and obviously Miller is frustrated with the 3rd period efforts. Having said that players could reply by saying 'make a save when it matters' or the Torts reply in 'and occasional save here and there would be nice'.
Last thing the team needs is dressing room animosity in the post Lou/Kesler era. But stuff happens and they gotta get through it.
Funny thing is that Miller is as much to blame for the third period woes as the players are. So he really needs to look in the Mirror as well. As good as his start has been he has let in some third period pizzas that have deflated the club as well. It's a two way street ands they need to get through it as a TEAM. Or we are headed back for the Lou/Kesler crap and we sure don't need that. |

No - better than barrying your head in the sand after several third period collapses. |

I showed up for a game once high and the coach knew right away and said "Well I guess we know why you burn out in the 3rd period, because you actually burn out." I didn't get to play much in the 3rd. |

Oh noes. Backup goalies are the Canucks kryptonite.
I predict Shutout.

It's always been part of Miller's personality but I dont like when players call each other out in the media immediately after a game. Miller was right though...

With Tanev out day-to-day with upper-body injury, it's Biega-Edler, Hamhuis-Weber, Hutton-Bartkowski. #Canucks

(frank)ing Edler with his useless drop passes on the PP. He doesnt know any other way to move the puck forward when we have the extra man.
I hope Miller rips him after the game! |

Bad pinch by Hammer. I don't see how Weber is supposed to block a open ice pass like Cheech is claiming... |
