Ty- Your writing is too kind...Krejci took THREE stupid lazy penalties in this game. Granted, when playing the canadiens...if you so much as touch them it's a penalty, but really those interference calls were just plain dumb and unnecessary.
Memo to Torey Krug- for $3 million+ per year you should be able to hit an open net. |

Same Montreal game plan. Goat you guys into retarded penalties and win the game. Been this way for years now, but u guys just don't seem to clue in. Likely the reason why the habs are like 49-1 against u guys in the last 50 games. |

Good blog and I agree that Boston was the better team until they won the challenge then montreal took over the game. The krejci penalty was just dumb especially when it was obvious the refs were calling things tight and he went after pleky earlier in the shift as well. |

The Boston dives in the first period were real. |

Yeah...you really can't complain about bad calls, when the Habs got called for some really marginal penalties, and you guys got away with high sticks and slew foots (Feet? Footing?). |

Boston was easily the better team through 40 mins but when you get schooled in the last 20 like they did last night, you can't say they were the better team on the night. As for the call on Krejci, that call gets made on every player in every rink in the league. |

how is shooting the puck into a teams bench not a penalty?
Montreal has a gutless team. Dives and cheap plays and if someone calls them on it and challenges someone for a fight they just skate away. The way the game is called now, there's nothing you can do about it. We've reached European hockey in the NHL now. Years ago teams dealt with this cheapness. Now we got people like old balls markov walking around like he's the toughest guy in the league. Makes me sick |

I think that was probably you looking at the Leafs record, and then looking way on up at the Habs record. |

I don't believe he actually shot the puck into the bench. He faked a shot and had guys running for cover. Certainly not the most sportsman like thing but the General has always had an edge and it seems to be getting worse as he gets older. Ironic to your post, he was pissed off because a Bruins player did an incredible dive to sell a call... |

Pretty even game overall IMO. It's astonishing to me that people still get surprised when chris lee (frank)s up multiple calls in a game. He knows it's a big game on a Saturday night and needs to get his stupid face on TV. |

...keep hoping your team loses every game so you can win the draft lottery...now that's sad. Be honest now, you've been drinking Don Cherry's kool-Aid, haven't you? |

It's not Markov's fault there isn't any fighting in the league.
It's not hockey's fault that you're a poopty human being.
Come here, put your head on my shoulder.
Shh....shh.shh.

You have some of the dumbest announcers I have ever listened to.
Really. Morons. A hot cup of chowder is smarter than the two of them. - jmo16
I have a growing dislike for Jack Edwards. He is a bigger homer than 90% of fans.
But....this guy......
He was pretty great! |

Did we beat a good team now? Are we proven yet? Did Rask look good?
Should have beat Montreal, and did beat the Islanders. I'm happy with the result obviously, but the downfall was the stupid penalties. WAY too many useless penalties in the second half of the game. Rask seemed to care about this game which was nice to see. Hopefully they keep moving forward. Things are starting to click a bit better. And I know it's only been 2 games, but god I love Vatrano. He puts it all out there. He RACED to beat Boychuck to that icing, and he always puts the puck on net. I would love to see Spooner with Vatrano and Pasta. I think that line would fly and pick on other 3rd lines. Have we had any update on Pasta?
And the defense, it seems like the more they play, the harder it is to figure out the pairings. Trotman and Morrow both don't seem to stand out to me, but don't seem entirely irresponsible either. Offense and Defense both have logjams, what an odd year for Boston, not used to this constant uncertainty lol |

Barely hung on against a equally struggling team. They played a game the night before but still looking to get 60 minutes more consistently.

Specifics? I watch a lot of other hockey and think they're better than 90% of the rest of the trash thats out there. I'm curious to hear why they are the dumbest announcers though, because you are flat out wrong. Really. Or are you just butthurt because your team lost? Seems legit. |

Who shot a puck into the bench? I know you're not talking about Markov, because he didn't actually do that. He faked it, and never actually shot the puck. So get your head out of your ass. Furthermore, he only DID that, because of one of the most blatant dives that I've ever seen in my life. Go back and watch the entire play again. You embarass yourself when you say stupid things like this. |

Great Blog sir, well done. I always read yours, and I'm a Habs fan.
As for your boy Krejci though, he was right in his post game comments; he cost you guys the game, and that crosscheck on on Plekanec was as obvious as they come. Even my girlfriend who was watching the game goes "Isn't that crosschecking?" lol
Been hugely impressed with Bergeron this season so far though, that guy's been an animal. |

That was a flat out wienerhead play to blast that puck at the Bruins bench after that call. Regardless if it was a dive (and are you... a Canadiens fan... really coming here to talk poop about diving... let's get mother-(frank)ing-serious). There's no defense for that, besides blatant homer-ism. If you think he wasn't wrong for doing this, then you are a flat out wienerhead. You embarass yourself trying to come here and defend a wienerhead play like that. |
