If you want a stud defenceman, you have to give Trouba (and Myers) stud defenceman icetime.
Most stud d-men get 24-26 minutes per game. Trouba is getting 19-20. Play more, play better.

Call me crazy, but I think we need to re-sign Byfuglien as soon as possible. We definitely have the best right sided defense in the league. I am hopeful we can get both Byfuglien and Ladd for a reasonable term and amount. I have been the biggest proponent of trading both, so you gotta know that any mind can be changed.

Also, I am really glad Burmistrov got that one last night. It's incredible the amount of skill that kid has. I hope this sparks his confidence to a point where he can finish of on some of the chances he creates. I was hopeful that we could have seen him on a line with Frolik.

Ehlers, Petan, Lowry, and Scheifle all look great. I really like the drafting job this team has done. And I am hopeful that my favorite Jet in Myers can start finding the score sheet. The guy is really good at generating offense, I just wish he had the statistical numbers to reward his work.
