Until the puck drops, nobody really knows how the changes will pan out.
Beleskey had a breakout year paired with Kesler. So did Silfverberg. I imagine whoever is paired with Silfverberg and Kesler on the left side will have the same success going forward. I know there are probably a ton of Kesler haters, but he did everything the Ducks asked of him, and was rewarded for it.
Bieksa will be interesting. IF he was paired with Sbisa in Vancouver, it would explain his numbers (imo). Sbisa was a huge disappointment with the Ducks. Let's see who Bieksa is paired with in Anaheim. I wouldn't be surprised to see a bounce back year from him if paired with Lindholm.
If they can avoid any serious injury issues, the Ducks should be favored to win the Pacific.

Canucks will be the true winners of the pacific...landing a top 3 pick unintentionally.

Much older. - A_SteamingLombardi
Little exaggeration there:
Palmieri = 24 Hagelin = 26
Etem = 23 Stewart = 26
Beleskey = 27 Khudobin = 29
Beauch = 35 Bieksa = 34
Shawn Horcoff (36) in until Nate Thompson (30) comes back in January. Signing a depth move, so not counting him as a replacement player.

You honestly think they'll slide that far back from last year? |

Burrows would look good playing with them.

He and his 1.75 cap hit will be there all year. |

Ducks will win the Pacific Division. I think they have taken a small step back but they are still a dominant team.
And onto more important discussions. Price with 11k's in his Jays debut. Jays!!🎉🎉🎉 |

Don't take this seriously. Canucks should screw up Ducks cap space. Offer 5.5 OS to Silfverrberg then when Ducks match then offer5.5 to Hagelin so you eat up 11 mil of their free space |

Really? You think we're worried about his cap hit? |

My Cynical Summery of the Pacific:
Edmonton- As soon as they actually learn to play hockey, they'll be frightfully good. I'd give them two years. Todd McClellen has looked for years like he ate a bad hot dog or something.
Los Angeles- I see a team ruined by the spoils of a successful run, and (perhaps wishful thinking) see them-at best- being the 1 st round exit team they were for years. The team voted "Most Likely to Benefit from a 12 Step program".
San Jose- Pete DeBoer is the Kevin Spacey of the hockey world. Based on his appearance, I don't see them going far...but what do I know?
Calgary- Lightning in a bottle. They were VERY very good, but like the Avalanche of two years ago, I don't see a repeat. Should be interesting though.
Phoenix- I think a fresh change of scenery, and a new jersey and ownership will give them a whole new outlook on being at the bottom of the west.
Anaheim- What Carol said.
Vancouver- What Vantel says, mixed with what Hillbilly deluxe says. |

^Not if he isn't playing???
This is a pretty good analysis of the Ducks. Though I don't think they see Bieksa as a like for like swap with Beauchemin. Anaheim is likely expecting Lindholm and Fowler to step up and play #1 or #2 minutes.
Anaheim may have gotten slightly older this off-season, but in Fowler, Lindholm, Vatanen and Despres they still have one of the youngest bluelines in the league. |

Benning offers 5.5M to Hagelin and then the Nucks give up 1st, 2nd and 3rd for the OS.
They then finish bottom 3 and Ducks get Tkachuk/Chychurn, 2nd and 3rd for Hagelin.
PLEASE BENNING DO IT!!!!!!
