The strangest thing JB said on not getting full value for Lack was. “A lot of GM’s in the east aren’t familiar with players in the west” WTF? Is that not why you have statistics and scouts? I find that to be an extremely lame excuse.

I'll be interested to see if they can get Boeser signed given that he says he's going to stick with school instead of going to the CHL.

Comparing Eddies return with others around the league its a fair deal. I figured a third but hoped for a 2nd. The market was totally saturated and Benning still came out okay imo. Lack was a great personality and will be missed by many but it was clear he wasn't getting a starting role here. I think Benning did what was best for both sides. Lets not forget Lack still has to win a starting role over Cam Ward.

Stick with school, don't sign, go back into the draft, sign as a UFA in Minnesota his home town!

Could've been worse. Didn't give up futures, didn't trade the 1st.
Although, with the players available for 1st's , wonder if any offers for 23 worth it?

At least we didn't trade Tanev for a 1,2 & 3 or less.
