From last blog. I think JB has a massive draft day. They say no major changes but same was said last year and we saw a bunch of changes. Same amount and I'm good. I just wonder if Cassels training with Dorsett, they can get son chemistry and that gives him the advantage over McCann.

Dorsett and Bo were my favorite players last year, I like Matthias and his size but I think he's done in VAN. Cole Cassels is a bonus for this team, they have to stay true to their word and develop him in Utica.

They need to sign players and clear cap space to do anything. Nothing to sell the fans like EDM & CAL is doing, but they want to sell seasons tickets. Good luck with that.

Crawford admitted they changed their tactics for the 2013 draft, which I think was a good one, hopefully Cassels is a good one!!

As much as I hate to say it, this team would probably need to trade Burrows, Bieksa, and Edler to really jump start the type of rebuild we want. We can trade the Higgins, Matthias, and Richardsons of the world, but it would make a marginal difference at best. You can't expect to improve (change?) the attitude of the team if you're trading marginal contributors.

Hopefully Benning has a plan in place to turn these guys into assets. We keep hearing about this retool, so I'd expect they have a detailed plan in place. An important piece of that plan must be to turn declining assets into futures, so let's see how it all plays out.
