if Green doesn't put one of Virtanen or McCann in for tonights game after a quadruple OT game then i doubt they'll ever get in. They're going to need some fresh legs!!!! - Mungo

Up front, Caswell says "I’m going to guess you’ll see Nicklas Jensen before you see Virtanen or LaBate. Other moves, who knows. Green could take the option to rotate in some fresh legs with Eriksson, Andersson, Pedan, Virtanen and McCann."
But I'm with you Mungo, I'd like to see one of McCann or Virtanen in the lineup.
I still can't believe that Trade for Despres.... from Pitts perspective that was an awful trade. I would love it if JB could get a player like him for Bieksa lol

I cant believe it either. It would make sense if draft picks were moved, but a straight up? Makes me think it was some attitude/request/personality conflict for Pitt to sell low

The way I see it, you get a chance to acquire a guy named "Lovejoy", you gotta do what it takes to make that happen. Simple as that.

"Many fans had mixed emotions when Ron Hextall announced that he had traded away veteran defenseman Kimmo Timonen to the Chicago Blackhawks, but that may have changed.
Hextall’s deal is looking more and more like one of the better moves made at the trade deadline as Chicago continue to march through teams on their way to a potential run at the Stanley Cup. That’s because Hextall had the foresight to trade Timonen for a 2nd round pick and conditional draft pick,a conditional pick that improves as Chicago advances throughout the post season.
As it stands right now the Flyers are looking at a 2nd round draft choice and a 3rd round draft choice in exchange for the veteran defenseman, something many would already consider to be a very good deal. Disney is also releasing Star Wars Anthology films. They're meant to fill in holes in the story between each episode. The trailer to the first Anthology film is pretty sick.
