I'm not seeing very much contact with Rask, and absolutely none before the puck went in. The call on Chara in OT was much more questionable, but he did get his stick into Perry's hands. |

I would feel for Boston fans if it wasn't for that asshat McQuaid. He got away with a cross-check to Beleskey's mouth in the 1st. Should've been at least 4. And they called Beauchemin on a weak tripping call on the same play. I was feeling like the refs had money on Boston for the first 50 minutes. Questionable call against Chara for sure, but the Beauch call was equally weak. I can't feel that bad for ya. |

There is not much worse then getting a loser point.
On the bright side maybe this is the start of Ottawa coming back down to Earth.
Although i think our best chance might be catching Washington at this rate.

If you can find the birds eye view Perry pretty clearly kicked out rask 's right leg not only that but Kesler should have already been in the box for holding/interference.
Could you imagine if it had been the other way around? Getzlaf would still be crying to the refs for (frank)'s and probably all the way into next week.
The season would already be over but the conference is garbage. It's like a bunch of the teams suddenly decided they don't want to be playoff teams anymore.

Ever since those losers in Toronto decided to mail it in everyone except the Sens, Rags, have fallen off for the most part (bolts and habs are staying the course).
Isles, Wings, Pens have all taken a dip... |

I'd want to see that, because the gif in the article looked like incidental contact outside the crease. |

was glad to see Krecji looked pretty good in his return. Julien fed him a lot of minutes, so hopefully that's a good sign he's close to 100%. Tough way to lose a tight game, but its a lot better than the one to Buffalo and the thrashings at the hands of washington & Ottawa a couple weeks ago. They gotta grab 3 out of 4 points this weekend or its over, time to put one in the 'W' column. |

It was fast but it looked to me that it was rask who kicked his leg out and tripped the player. To me it looked like a good goal. (from this gif anyway, didn't watch the game)

catching washington? they're up to 90 points good luck with that, you've got a way better chance of beating out one-hit wonder hammond |

what really dissappointed me last night is how they were out hit. Every time the Bruins got the puck, someone hit them. that used to be the Bruins M.O. |

Nope.... nope.... nope
That was short lived, he is awful.... I'd rather he sit and Morrow comes up |

In the clip shown with this blog the contact is three feet outside the crease. I think if the goalie comes out that far any incidental contact is fair game. |

That's run it's course. I was guilty of it. Jus walk away from him. Please do not re-sign him. Rather Trotman or Morrow get a chance. |

Agree that a goalie outside the paint SHOULD be fair game. However, that's not that way the game is called anymore. Guys get penalties and goals get waived off ff you sneeze towards a goalie nowadays. As with all other officiating in the league, I'd just like come consistancy. |

I think that Kesler laying on the ice and holding Bergeron's stick so that he couldn't move was the real issue of the tying goal. But to not call that and call the hooking penalty on Chara was mind-boggling. |
