Both have NTC's which will make it tough. One would think Benning will try to reacquire those traded 2nd & 3rd round picks at some point though.

I'm ok with the Bieksa trade talk but why would you consider trading Hamhuis? Seeing the Canucks defense depth, who would replace him? Next on the depth chart is Sbisa, Clendenning, Corrado, Stanton, none of those names make up a top 4 pairing. The return on Hamhuis wouldn't pay off for a couple years at best

I'm ok with the Bieksa trade talk but why would you consider trading Hamhuis? Seeing the Canucks defense depth, who would replace him? Benning needs to find a way to add some young D that at some point can replace Hamhuis in the top 3. There is a chance Corrado turns out to be a replacement for Bieksa but no guarantees there.
