sedin, sedin, vrbata, kassian, elder 1st unit
bonino, horvat, matthias, burrows/hansen, Random defense(likely Clendening or Weber) for 2nd unit
Reason I would do hansen over burrows is because 2nd unit gets tail end of pp time and our fastest skater is needed to collect the puck if dumped.

Just trying to get my head around this quote from Henrik in IM's van sun article,

"For us, mentally, it was a matter of not respecting their lineup. That was the biggest thing."

I'm just trying to understand the identity and motivation of this team. Do they not remember missing the playoffs last year or is all the blame on Torts?

Not sure how they aren't ready to play teams that are lower in the standings. These games should be considered opportunities to get their pp going and really shine.

He might but I think generally the market dictates salaries, he might leave a bit on the table but there were some here predicting/hoping he resigns for Higgins/Hansen money and I just don't see it.

Nice to see the rally back for a point, but what a cluster(frank) that game was. If they we looking past the Coyotes to the Shark this weekend, we better see some better effort to deal with those Sharks. We're becoming some grade A slump busters.

We have always been somebody's slumpbusters. It's our franchise identity. Also, if somebody is about to set an historic NHL milestone record, they must circle playing us on the schedule. How many of Gretzky's records were set against us?

Usually players in their prime receive higher compensation than players with potential. I think Smith is likely being paid based off what he did last season, which also happened to be in a top 6 role.

I would be really happy if Matthias is resigned for around 3 but I think 4 is the minimum, teams will see a 27 year old 6'4 225 lbs center/winger who scored 20ish in a 3rd line role.
